Anybody in America has the same rights and privileges under the law. Where do you get the idea that it is systemically racist?

I have been denied job opportunities because of my ethnicity and gender, yet I don't believe that America is systemically racist.

The fact that we had First Black President not once but Twice.....The Fact that there are Congress men and women who are of minorities...The Fact that we have First African-Asian woman Vice President ....The Fact that we have now First Black Lt Governor of Virginia.... All these facts show that United States although may not be prefect, is definitely NOT systematically Racist!!

It is the case that being a member of the Democratic party ,or the Republican party for that matter carries with it certain monetary amenities and privileges [I thought ] having said that ,why is or does Manchin continue to be held in good stead within the democratic party when he continues to disavow the principles and values the democratic party holds in high esteem , why isn't he cast out, and stripped of any acompanying amenities that goes with it - and to ask a further question - what is the whips job.

And you are clueless! If you had any understanding of what is going on you would not draw these stupid assumptions . Best to keep quiet if issues are above your pay grade….

The Democratic Party was/is the party of division and racism. They have never supported the American values, as I see them, or the Constitution. Their "voting rights" bill flies in the face of the constitution. They value identity politics which flies in the face of "equality" which is an American value.

I agree that being woke is like a religion. People who are woke don't believe in science or common sense. They believe that a person's feelings are more important than truth. That America is systemically racist, which is demonstrativly false. They believe in non binary people. They believe that they can change the meaning of words. That racism, called "anti rascism" isn't still racism. And that anti fascism, using fascist tactics, is actually fighting fascism. That the end justifies the means, and they are wrong.

Being from the left coast it doesn't surprise me that you believe being woke has positive connotations, most of America knows the opposite to be true.

words words, words! All you folks do is tell each other how terrible Democrats are. There's a quotation in the Bible about seeing the speck in the other person's eye while ignoring the log in your own.

where in the hell did " YOU PEOPLE" get that definition of the word WOKE. The word in it self is a conjugation of the verb wake which principally means to arise from type of hybernation or sleep, one should prefer to be awoke as oppose to sleep.

In the English language words tend to take on the meaning of their use. Many times a slang word gets used so often that it becomes not just a slang term, but a real word. WE did not invent the usage of Woke as an adjective for left wing hyper awareness of " social injustice. " Since you dared to ask the question, here you go.

Got it from none other the Barack Hussein Obama, himself, in his October 2019 speech castigating the “woke” crowd.

I don't need anybody to tell me how bad the modern democrat/Marxist party is. Anyone with eyes and half a brain can see it for what it is. Hell everyone on TV keeps telling me how great it is. Problem is I have the ability to think critically and honestly. I've also seen Communism up close and in person, so I know better.

Marlya, the Dem politicians of today have no principles or values outside of money, power and control for self- serving purposes! The poster group for Narcissism. They are so consumed by hate that they can’t think, react doing stupid ….their playbook is to go after anyone who gets in the way of their agenda! A definite losing strategy. Just some thoughts.

You are just one of those who puts 'the Democrat party' first instead of this nation first!!! You support all the damage the Democrats have done to this nation and think that is just fine!!!
