There's an old quarry in Portland,Ct. That was flooded by the Connecticut River back in the 50's...I was a pup. We used to scuba there,and saw crap,uh,carp,that big.They had been land-locked by the flood,and had no predators.
60' down,in fresh water,you aren't expecting to see a fish that big! Scared the carp out of us!!

I’ve known Russians and Asians that eat carp. They’re considered a great sport fish by many. I’ve caught a few and can attest to the fact that they put up one heck of a good fight.
