My 53 Year Old Son Died Last Night In His Sleep, Probably Alcohol Related, I've Been Telling, Begging Him To Get Help From VA And Then AA But He Just Wouldn't or Couldn't Do What I Did 39 Years Ago, I'm So Angry And Sad I Could Scrim, But I Know It Would Do Zero Good...

I Found Him He Looked So Peaceful, His Demons Are Gone Now...

Such A Wast He Was Such a Good Guy Except For His Drinking, Never a Mean Drunk, Just a Drunk, Damn It, He Was Suppose To Take Care of My Remains, Not The Other Way Around...

Our hearts break for you and your son. There is only so much you can do for someone who is locked in pain that will not be solved by drugs, alcohol or a wild and destructive life. Don I understand your pain, I lost a brother in the same manner. Truly a waste, those who have the alcoholism affliction always seem to be beyond help. I will pray for your son.

Oh God, , the loss of a son, unspeakable . The one thing we as parents pray will never happen . I am from a family racked by the disease, so many lost, including my mother. Last summer attended memorial for a cousin, found there were no words sufficient for his mother, who also found him. Just tears and a hug, nothing compares. It took me along time to remember who my mother was, apart from the disease. She was a wonderful warm person. Hold on dearly to all the good you remember of your son. God didn't want him to suffer any more and called him Home. My most sincere condolences. May God be with you, and carry you through this.
