I love the Nativity scene too but perfectly content seeing them throughout the towns or cities placed on the grounds or steps of Churches, where they belong, not for example on the courthouse steps, technically a lit tree or Christmas lights is generic enough to be accepted and celebrate the season, why push it?

I agree with you .. I think pushing it is because Christianity is under attack and as we have seen as example the over reach in removing statutes etc people have plenty of passion about their religion..
