We are not immuned to the horrors of Nazi Germany because we have a Constitution and Bill of Rights that grounds liberty in law. The people of Germany in 1938 would have heavily wagered it would never happen there. How did it happen? I am always stunned and devastated that such a government as Stalin's or Hitler's could ever exist. Where were all the decent people? How could there be so many, many rotten apples? Then I look at comments on OPP and hope fails. The blindness, the hypocrisy, the viciousness, the personal attacks based on politics or race, the careless call for secession or Civil War, the Great and Impervious Divide that has no conscience, the pettiness and foolishness, and I know America can be destroyed. America is not safe. It may already be close to its last days as the greatest experiment in freedom. Few seemed concerned. Both sides digging an ever-deepening abyss for our liberty to fall and die.

What you say about demagogues and manipulation is true however how do you apply that to our nation where the predominant population in our prisons is the illegals. MS13 gang members are predominantly illegal and are the most vicious, hardened, criminals in the country. They blight and destroy every communuty where they get a foothold. Illegals vote in our elections and game the welfare system like cuckoo birds, and this is not stealing our birthrght? Their precarious presence, allows business owners to exploit them by paying low wages "off the books" and rigging hours of employment to minimize their costs while keeping the illegals in a form of slavery and you don't think this should be eliminated?

This last election demonstrated that very few politicians or talking heads are in touch with the problems of blacks and the working poor, anywhere other than in cities. They did not address the cause of the poverty enmeshing these people or the slide into poverty of the former middle class. It is not protectionism when our laws have been rigged to ensure the flight of decent manufacturing jobs all over the world. Especially to the areas which supply most of the illegals; we have exported our wealth and gotten their poverty cases in return. That is a recipe for dissolution and unless it is stopped we will cease to exist as a nation.

None of the pols other than Trump, presented a coherent approach to resolving the massive influx of alien invaders, much less shutting off the inflow. This is the United States of America, not Mexico. Our language is English, not Spanish and my children's schools should not be overcrowded with the children of illegal aliens who cannot speak the language and perforce drag down the progress of all students.

More interesting than a list of these mercenaries, would be a list of those who paid for their services and why.

There were stories of the US and state agencies (FBI, CIA, Texas Rangers, etc. ?) infiltrating groups to gather intelligence. Some of these infiltrators were supposedly very vocal in suggesting violent action.

Given the moderate to conservative nature of most Americans, it would be foolish for a leftist to hire someone to incite violence that could be tied to the left, since the likely backlash would more than likely harm the leftist agenda and aid rightist agendas. Therefore, it might be more likely that a rightist would hire mercenaries to incite violence that could be tied to the left.

I wonder how much it would cost to pay everyone to be nice?
