I lived most my life in the Ohio Valley. People say Florida is hot and humid. It is but Ohio was worse in the summer. Yesterday I was Kayaking and of course fishing at Fort Desoto here on the Gulf Coast. It got hot, I dived out, swam with three dolphins for awhile, got back on. Couldn't do that in Ohio.
Love Florida.

Uhh... hurricanes. No thanks.

Hurricanes? We don't need no stinking hurricanes. Actually my dad lived here for thirty years and really only had one issue with hurricanes. No damage. Had much more damage while I was in Ohio from tornado's.

But you can dodge or run away from a tornado. Try that with a hurricane.

There you have it. 99% of the time you have plenty of time to move inland from a hurricane. Good luck dodging tornado's. Ever see The Wizard of Oz?

What does a fictional movie have to do with real life?

You have a good point. You have to be fast with tornados, but faster with hurricanes!
You can alternately do what I did when I lived in Hawaii. Just sit outside in an easy chair drinking coffee
because running on an island is useless!

Was it supposed to get serious? Why is that always necessary?

Me? Serious? There are few things I'm serious about. One of them is beer. Want one?

It's a little cool, and damp here in Amarillo. I lost the coin toss, and have to slog through the mud to feed the horse.

Or Florida, coupled with its humidity it's find the nearest water and jump in.. If you have a pool its add cool water or feel like your in a sauna..

Now here in Colorado it's 56* right now with a low tonight of 48 to 50 maybe.. loll

These weather people here are either stoned when trying to report or just don't care dismissing their forecast as messed up because of the Mountains... lol

Some truth to that but not as bad as they are in predictions.... lolol
