95 degrees is not hot. If you think that's hot, you wouldn't last through a Summer in Las Vegas.

Right now in West Virginia it is a great 78. However we had a lot of flooding last week. When the rain comes hard the creeks overflow, but the next day the extra water is gone. Unfortunately it often takes a house or two, and some times some livestock. We weren't that heavily hit this time. At least no major rock slides or major road blockage this time.

It is the old saying, " It's not the heat it's the humidity. " The heat in the Mid Atlantic states broke a day ago. It is a good 10 to 15 degrees cooler and less humid.

Las Vegas does get hot for sure. When I lived there, it was to hot to go out of the house.
But I did anyway. Went for a jog, and was dizzy for two days. I don't know if it was the sun, or my wife
telling me how much of an old fool I was!

Ninety-five degrees represents a cold front in Central Texas this time of year, especially with our humidity.

A dip in the lake takes care of the problem.

It's a very pleasant 74 here in the Texas Panhandle right now with a nice North breeze.
I'm currently enjoying a beer while watching Mrs. B. push the mower around. She won/lost the coin toss, and I got the kitchen, and she got the mower. The kitchen is immaculate, but I'm sure she'll gripe because I didn't put the clean dishes from the dishwasher in their "proper" place, just as I'll complain about the unorganized, higgeldy piggeldy way she mows. Life is good! Don't sweat it!

In my case, that would be a "skinny dip!"

Having grown up in Ballamer, I can sympathize with those of you who are feeling the hot temperatures. During this last week, north of the Springs we've had cool temps. I've had to sleep w/ two blankets on at night. Of course, my home is at 6500' so it's like I reside in the Poconos or Adirondacks. Last yr, I had to put the fan on in my room about 10-12 times. In 2015, maybe two or three! This yr...two or three again. As I post this (1741 hrs) my outdoor thermometer reads 58 degrees. (Sorry 'bout that!) Of course, snow is a different story altogether....

Hopefully, your plumbing is up to the task.
