Just a consideration...God is not a he...or a her...I don't happen to believe the end result is known, JMO, Some things may be known, lets say the life expectancy of earth, but even that is an unknown, depends if we humans turn it into a dust bowl or not. You see the future is not an absolute, it is forever changing, forever manifesting. But maybe what is known is that each one of us carries a non destructive energy(our soul) and all the energy of the universe is connected... that does goes on...space has no linear time, so maybe we will all meet again...
Well...that's one theory img src="https://static.... (show quote)

According to the Bible, God is a He. According to standard English usage, if a personage's sex is unknown, the masculine pronouns are used.

All time is linear for humans, possibly not so for God or Billy Pilgrim. Non-linear time is a hackneyed sci-fi concept but a material impossibility for obvious reasons.

Yes and in the bible God is singular. But that doesn't have to make it so. It's a primitive perception.

Time for us on earth is linear based on our reasoning, the rotation of the earth gives the appearance of a sunrise and sunset, also the rise and fall of the moons. But in space, and where that is not the case. A millennium is different there than here. Than there's the theories of parallel universe's, all interesting stuff.

But getting back to your question, I hope in my posts on this thread I've addressed it even only as simply a consideration.

Everyone's comments contain a kind of wisdom. I try to glean what I can from each of them. Thank you.

...God is the all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerful Creator of everything that is… so why does He create a universe designed to inflict pain and suffering on everything that lives?

If God is at the root of all of the rules of the universe, why are their results so terribly flawed? Why does he behave so much like an absentee landlord of some semi-abandoned rent controlled tenement block? If God is all that He is advertised to be, why doesn’t He perform beyond human expectations instead of barely meeting them.
...God is the all-seeing, all-knowing, all-powerfu... (show quote)

In his book, "Why Do Bad Things Happen To Good People", Rabbi Harold Kushner explored the seemingly three mutually contradictory propositions:
1. God is all powerful.
2. God is all knowing.
3. God is good.
As I remember, Kushner came to believe the God is not all powerful. I don't remember his reason for the belief.

I think one's answer to this riddle says much about one's personality.

I kinda like the story that all three are true, but on the seventh day, when God rested, He forgot to set His alarm clock, and is still asleep. Our job is to protest loud enough at the injustice in the world, that we wake God from His slumber and She sets things right.
