Here you go bdamge, I think this psalm and what I wrote in "Praying for America--Through the Psalm of David" applies to this week so I must share it with you too.

"In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,
And of the Holy Spirit,"
Amen!

Plea for Judgment of False Accusers
To the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
Do not keep silent,
O God of my praise!
For the mouth of the wicked and the mouth of the deceitful
Have opened against me;
They have spoken against me with a lying tongue.
They have also surrounded me with words of hatred,
And fought against me without a cause.
In return for my love they are my accusers,
But I give myself to prayer.
Thus they have rewarded me evil for good,
And hatred for my love.
Set a wicked man over him,
And let a Satan stand at his right hand.
When he is judged, let him be found guilty,
And let his prayer become sin.
Let his days be few,
And let another take his office.
Let his children be fatherless,
And his wife a widow.
Let his children continually be vagabonds, and beg;
Let them seek their bread also from their desolate places.
Let the creditor seize all that he has,
And let strangers plunder his labor.
Let there be none to extend mercy to him,
Nor let there be any to favor his fatherless children.
Let his posterity be cut off,
And in the generation following let their name be blotted out.
Let the iniquity of his fathers be remembered before the Lord,
And let not the sin of his mother be blotted out.
Let them be continually before the Lord,
That He may cut off the memory of them from the earth;
Because he did not remember to show mercy,
But persecuted the poor and needy man,
That he might even slay the broken in heart.
As he loved cursing, so let it come to him;
As he did not delight in blessing, so let it be far from him.
As he clothed himself with cursing as with his garment,
So let it enter his body like water,
And like oil into his bones.
Let it be to him like the garment which covers him,
And for a belt with which he girds himself continually.
Let this be the Lord’s reward to my accusers,
And to those who speak evil against my person.
But You, O GOD the Lord,
Deal with me for Your name’s sake;
Because Your mercy is good, deliver me.
For I am poor and needy,
And my heart is wounded within me.
I am gone like a shadow when it lengthens;
I am shaken off like a locust.
My knees are weak through fasting,
And my flesh is feeble from lack of fatness.
I also have become a reproach to them;
When they look at me, they shake their heads.
Help me, O Lord my God!
Oh, save me according to Your mercy,
That they may know that this is Your hand—
That You, Lord, have done it!
Let them curse, but You bless;
When they arise, let them be ashamed,
But let Your servant rejoice.
Let my accusers be clothed with shame,
And let them cover themselves with their own disgrace as with a mantle.
I will greatly praise the Lord with my mouth;
Yes, I will praise Him among the multitude.
For He shall stand at the right hand of the poor,
To save him from those who condemn him.

Psalms 108:1-13

What a Psalm for this week. Let me begin with something I wrote earlier:
" And behold, a certain lawyer stood up and tested Him, saying, “Teacher, what shall I do to inherit eternal life?”

He said to him, “What is written in the law? What is your reading of it?”

So he answered and said, “ ‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind,’[h] and ‘your neighbor as yourself.’”(Leviticus 19:18)

And He said to him, “You have answered rightly; do this and you will live.”

But he, wanting to justify himself, said to Jesus, “And who is my neighbor?”

Then Jesus answered and said:

“A certain man went down from Jerusalem to Jericho, and fell among thieves, who stripped him of his clothing, wounded him, and departed, leaving him half dead. Now by chance a certain priest came down that road. And when he saw him, he passed by on the other side. Likewise a Levite, when he arrived at the place, came and looked, and passed by on the other side. But a certain Samaritan, as he journeyed, came where he was. And when he saw him, he had compassion. So he went to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on oil and wine; and he set him on his own animal, brought him to an inn, and took care of him. On the next day, when he departed, he took out two denarii, gave them to the innkeeper, and said to him, ‘Take care of him; and whatever more you spend, when I come again, I will repay you.’ So which of these three do you think was neighbor to him who fell among the thieves?”

And he said, “He who showed mercy on him.”

Then Jesus said to him, “Go and do likewise.” " (Luke 10:25-37)

Now if I were to rewrite the parable like this how would we all respond:

"A certain man was traveling from Los Angeles to Washington, DC. and fell among thieves. They stripped him of his clothing , wounded him, and departed. Leaving the man half-dead. Now, by chance, a certain priest from the Catholic faith, was traveling with many of his protestant colleagues were traveling down the same road. They were discussing the mysteries of Christ and arguing amongst themselves. The Mormons were arguing their viewpoint, the Catholics their viewpoint, the Baptists theirs and the Lutherans theirs. They continued to argue, that none of them noticed the man and passed him on by. Like wise, leaders of the Democrat Party and Republican Party, just happened to pass by the man. They too, were too caught up in their arguments that they too passed the man by not noticing him. Then it happened that a group of Wall Street investors along with Actors and Actresses, Directors and Production artists were going down the same road. Caught up in their fame and fortune, they too didn't notice the man, but passed him on by. The man felt depressed and waited for God to take him into heaven.

Then it happened, that a rich real estate investor, celebrity, the one who is hated by some, was coming down the road with his people. The man did not know who he was, nor did anyone else. The celebrity was thinking about running for president. He came upon the man, and saw him. Took compassion on him. He went to the man, and took him to the hospital. He told the doctors, "Take care of him, whatever you spend, I will repay you.", the celebrity went on his way. Now I ask you, which of these are his neighbor?"

This week we will see all the false accusers of one Donald Trump, President of the United States being accused of their actions. This week it will be revealed to us who the real perpetrators against freedom really are. For lo, and behold, the perpetrators are blaming Trump, for their own actions. This is interesting. The question this week will be, "Why did the Obama administration do nothing, concerning the cyber attacks of Russia?"

My only warning for any of those who once supported the Democrats is this, "Do not judge lest you be judged."

Saint David, King of Israel and Moses would have put to death these conspirators as well as the media for continuing to push the issue. Now the issue has been pushed, and is now in a court of Law. Like I said in the beginning of this year, Donald Trump and company are innocent. And now it will be proved, Thank God!, and the truly guilty will have to pay. Pay for conspiring with the enemy. Lord guide us, Guide America, all of our representatives and senators, in their wisdom to find justice for America. Amen.

Yes, eagleeye, I have researched the bible and can simplify some of the circumstances of the bible, but the way I understand it is that the angels poisoned the creature called "human". This poison hurt the human race for thousands of years of doubt. So much doubt that we have the problems of today. To gain wisdom in the Lord, we must see how the faithful handled their problems of their times. Thank you for recognizing my study, however, the past is gone and the future is not yet here. So we must live for Christ Today, not yesterday or tomorrow but for today. This does not mean, be like the 60's and sin for today, but be like the angels and serve God for today. Have a good nite. And thank you for praying and posting on these threads.

God, Bless you all! Amen.

"In the name of the Father,
And of the Son,

Amen!

Dear Lord, we ask that You continue to be with us, to protect President Trump, and our Nation.
We ask that You open the eyes of the blind that are being led down the road to perdition.
We thank You and praise You, as we ask in Jesus name. Amen

This is the prayer from 8/4/15

My mind was drinking in the serenity of the landscape, as a rosy glow began to appear in the eastern sky. It was the gentle reminder that a new day is awakening. Another day is dawning, what does it hold for each of us? Will it be a day of happy revelations, or another day of suffering and struggle? Good health, good family and friends gives us a sense of security, but mental anguish, pain and suffering tries our resolve and our faith. What do we believe, where are we on a faith meter? Think about it!

Do we cry, "God, where are You? Why don't You hear me? Why don't You answer my prayer?" Has life made us so jaded that we have to blame someone when we face a struggle? The blame game never makes it easier, it doesn't change the situation. The Lord is always there, we just expect things right now. Right now is not always in His time frame, so we have to wait. As we wait, if we start praying, we will find a surprising change in our attitude, we will find He is there with us. He never left!

There is always time to praise You, Lord, and ask that You be with us this day. It's one of those days when, at first I felt, I would have no time to pray. We all know, if we want our day to run smoothly - take the time to pray. We love You, Lord, we need You. We ask that You bless our footsteps this day, keep us safe, keep us well, and stay within our hearts and thoughts all through this busy day. Your presence will make us a winner! In Jesus name we ask. Amen

Almighty God, thank you for being with me always, especially in those moments when life is most confusing and my fears most troubling. Please give me faith to not only ask you honest questions, but to also trust you even when things don't look like they are all that good for those who believe in you. Please help my faith hold firm as I wait for your mighty vindication of your people. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

In times like these, a strong faith will carry you through the worst of storms. Life may seem chaotic and stormy right now, but rather than looking at the high waves - keep your eyes on Jesus. Peter walked on water until his eyes left the sight of Jesus and fell on the waves Matthew 14:29-30. Don't be a Peter, keep your eyes on the Lord. Amen

Verse of the Day for Sunday, June 25, 2017:

Therefore I tell you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink; or about your body, what you will wear. Is not life more important than food, and the body more important than clothes? — Matthew 6:25

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

Food and clothing are some of the biggest worries of our human existence. They have been for centuries. God reminds us, however, that no matter how important these may seem to be in our world, life is really much bigger than these things and God wants us to trust that he will supply them when we trust in him.

My Prayer...

Father, please help me rein in my envious and covetous heart. I know my desire for things makes me anxious and near-sighted in my faith. Give me a more expansive view of your Kingdom so I can use your blessings to help others. In the name of the Lord Jesus. Amen.

The Thoughts and Prayer on Today's Verse are written by Phil Ware.

Amen.

This is the prayer from 8/5/15

I'M A WINNER, I'M A WINNER - I TOOK THE TIME TO PRAY

I took the time to pray,
I really didn't have much to say.
I knew it would be run, run all the way.
But, I sat here and felt I need You today.

Here I am, happy as a Lark,
Praise the Lord, He gave me that spark.
My car sat at Walgreens with it locked,
The keys, in plain sight, to my shock.

Here I was, no keys, and in town,
Although, I had rolled a window partially down.
Unusual, a window down, I know not why,
The manager reached in, and opened it easy as pie.

How I praise His Holy Name, He prompted me to pray. Thank You, Lord.

Verse of the Day for Monday, June 26, 2017:

Have no fear of sudden disaster or of the ruin that overtakes the wicked, for the LORD will be your confidence and will keep your foot from being snared. — Proverbs 3:25-26

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

What guards your heart from fear? Only one protector is sure and faithful, his name is the LORD. He is our confidence and protector. As Paul said so powerfully long ago, prayer and the Holy Spirit are our assurance of God's deliverance. Either we will be delivered from death to serve God powerfully or we will be delivered through death to share with him in eternity. We will not be snared when our fate and future remain in God's hands!

My Prayer...

Almighty Deliverer, please give me courage to live for you with passion, no matter the cost. I trust in you to deliver me. In Jesus' name I confidently pray. Amen.
