Top Muslim Imam: ‘Laws Protecting Women From Violence Are Un-Islamic’
Posted by: Bill Wallace
March 8, 2016

A prominent cleric in Pakistan termed the “Protection of Women against violence Bill 2015”, passed by the Punjab Assembly on Wednesday, in contradiction to the Islamic Sharia and criticized the Sharif brothers for allegedly pushing the country towards ‘secularism’. The bill was adopted by the provincial assembly on Wednesday, making all crimes against the women an offence including domestic violence, emotional, psychological and economic abuse, verbal abuse, stalking, abetment of an offence, and cyber crimes. According to the new law, a toll-free number (UAN) will also be introduced to receive complaints while a district protection committee will be setup to investigate women’s complaints in this regard. Reacting to the development, Chief of Jamia Binoria International Mufti Muhammad Naeem said in a statement that the bill was contrary to teachings of Holy Quran and Sunnah. Terming the bill a bid to suppress men at the hands of women, he said violence against women can be controlled by giving them rights allocated for them in the Sharia. Mufti Naeem strongly opposed the bill and expressed his concerns over it calling it a ‘tragedy’. “Rulers under their mental slavery of the West are forgetting their social values also,” he remarked in the statement…. Violence against women has been criminalized in Pakistan Penal Code (PPC) which is a federal law. Acts of domestic violence are also an offence under various sections of PPC, and punishments for these have been prescribed in this federal law too.

Government says no to self-reliant citizens: Rainwater collection criminalized
By: Tara Paras
Date: March 07, 2016

Did you know that collecting rainwater on your own property could actually get you in jail?

Just look at the case of Gary Harrington of Eagle Point, Oregon. Harrington collected rainwater in three reservoirs on his property, and, well, the government didn’t like it. He is now facing a 30-day jail sentence and fines of more than $1,500.

Obviously then, having a cistern today would be against the law. The house I grew up in had one. We would collect rainwater from the down spouts and use that soft water for washing clothes.

Verse of the Day for Wednesday March 9th, 2016

What shall we conclude then? Are we any better? Not at all! We have already made the charge that Jews and Gentiles alike are all under sin. As it is written: "There is no one righteous, not even one ..."
—Romans 3:9-10

Thoughts on Today's Verse...

Paul is driving home the point in Romans 3 that none of us can even approximate the perfection and holiness of God. So how do we get there? How do we escape the stranglehold of sin? God's answer is Jesus! I believe that must be our answer, too!

My Prayer...

Holy and Righteous God, I acknowledge before you the sinfulness in my life. Please bless and empower me to live as your victorious child. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Next they will want to meter the amount of gas you pass and make you pay a carbon tax on it.
That would be RIDICULOUS SUPREME, but RIDICULOUS SUPREME is what it looks like already.
I'd better hush up or I'll give them ideas.

Verse of the Day for Thursday March 10th, 2016:

All who rely on observing the law are under a curse, for it is written: "Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law." Clearly no one is justified before God by the law, because, "The righteous will live by faith." — Galatians 3:10-11

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

Thankfully, God provided us the Sacrifice that makes us righteous and pays for our sins, because none of us keeps God's Law perfectly. In his boundless grace, God sent Jesus to do what we cannot do: live a perfect life and offer himself as the perfect sacrifice for our sins. We don't have to live under law trying to earn our perfection and God's acceptance. Instead, we live "by faith," trusting that God will look at us through Christ's perfection and not our imperfection, judge us based on Jesus' holiness and not our transgressions, and view us through the Son's righteousness and not our unrighteousness. In this way, we fulfill the righteousness requirements of the Law, without having to be bound to the "curse of the law."

My Prayer...

Almighty and Most Holy God, thank you for your plan of grace that has brought me back from sin and death, and given me a way to live victoriously for you. Thank you, dear Father, for Jesus and his awesome and holy life, and his generous and loving sacrifice for my sins. May the words I say, and the way I live, show that your grace has captured my heart and that true faith in Jesus has changed my life. In Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Verse of the Day for Friday March 11th, 2016:

For no one can lay any foundation other than the one already laid, which is Jesus Christ. — 1 Corinthians 3:11

Thoughts on Today's Verse....

There is only one foundation on which the Church and the Christian life can be built. That foundation is Jesus Christ (cf. 1 Peter 2:4-7; Ephesians 2:20). He is the one whom God sent to save us (John 3:16). He is the "way, the truth, and the life," the only way to God (John 14:6). The Lord Jesus Christ is the name above all names, the name at which every knee will bow (Philippians 2:5-11). His is the only name by which we must be saved (Acts 4:12). Let's take time today to specifically honor Jesus as Lord with our hearts, our words, and our actions.

My Prayer...

Lord Jesus, your name is above every other name that has ever been named. Your glory extends back beyond creation and will endure after the light from every sun has been extinguished. Your sacrificial love that saved me is awesome and beyond compare. Please receive my heartfelt adoration and praise. To you belong all glory, majesty, power, and grace for what you have done to save me and what you will one day do to bring me home to you! Amen.

Is a Civil War Brewing in America?
On March 11, 2016/ By Geri Ungurean

Watching the riots outside of the University of Illinois at Chicago Pavilion, where a Donald Trump rally was to take place was more than a bit disconcerting. Police had credible information that a large crowd of protesters planned to storm the stage where Mr. Trump was to speak. The rally was cancelled. 25,000 people had planned to attend.

Anyone who has followed my articles on the campaign, knows that I am no fan of Donald Trump. But neither am I a fan of political correctness. I am a great fan of our Constitution and our First Amendment right to freedom of speech. Tonight, crowds of rioters shut down that right for Mr. Trump.

Barack Obama

He has been called the Great Divider and I do believe that title fits him well. Since Obama has been in office, he has created so much hatred between blacks and whites, the wealthy and the poor. Class warfare was his goal, and he was hugely successful in this endeavor.

George Soros

This evil man has funded most uprisings all over the world. He has admitted to funding Ferguson and the Baltimore uprisings. He is a multi-billionaire who hates capitalism! If you have not read my article on this demonically possessed man, here it is:

A Vile Man Named George Soros

People are angry

Personally, I do not like Donald Trump. But I do understand the anger of many Americans, and why there is so much support for this brash man. He says what many feel. He is NOT politically correct by any means.

Is there a war brewing?

I have felt for a few months, that things might get ugly before November of this year. I wasn’t sure what might happen. But after tonight, I do wonder if a type of civil war might erupt in America.

We must pray

As followers of Jesus Christ, we must be on our knees for America. I believe that we are under God’s judgment – and rightly so. The sins of our nation are an abomination to God. Abortion and Gay Marriage fly in the face of our Creator. This country was founded upon Judeo-Christian principles. The enemy has had his way in our country, and I believe that God has taken away His protection from us.

I miss the America we once knew. I feel like we are living in a foreign country. I know I’m not alone.

Please help us God. Instead of Trump’s mantra “Let’s make America great again” I pray that we would be crying out to God “Let’s make America God’s country once again.”

Our prayers for America are needed more than ever. George Soros is just one of many evil men looking to destroy us. Satan inspired, corruption and gall fill their souls. Is it possible we can pray the Holy Ghost into the heart of some? It would be refreshing to see just one stand up for right, stand against the Soros destruction machine. Stand for human dignity, freedom, and right. More than ever we must be in prayer.

We ask, protect our homeland, Lord. Turn evil into good and have all evil intent backfire on the perpetrators. We know our need, Lord, and it lies in Your presence, and Yours alone. This we ask in Jesus name, thanking You and praiseing You. Amen
