I've read on the NASA web page that the temperature of the globe has increase 1.7 F° since 1880. How can anyone say that the world isn't getting warmer?.

The world IS getting warmer. Nobody says it isn't. Solar activity increased dramatically since 1880, raising average temperatures across the globe. But since the peak of temperatures in 1998, solar activity has been receding in concert with the flattening of global temperature. It is amusing to watch officials at NOAA and the IPCC fudge temperature data to show annual increases of a few thousandths of a percentage point to justify continued global warming. Like a few thousandths of a percentage point actually makes a difference. CO2 levels continue to rise steadily, despite flattening of the temperature trend during the past 18 years, and that is driving NOAA and the IPCC crazy. It contradicts their theory that CO2 and its greenhouse effect are responsible for global warming. IT IS NOT!!! CO2 is not our enemy, it is an essential compound in the atmosphere. Without CO2, all plants die and then we all die. Without CO2, the world would become a barren wasteland without life. Alarmists are clueless about actual science. And the naive public sucker for their every word.

Chalk 750, just remember God is in charge of the climate not Congress. Climate legislation is just a way to get dollars and fool people in the process.

Why did NOAA alter the results of their "Global Warming" conclusions that Obama used at the summit to force countries under a one world tax collector?
Why is NASA under investigation after several scientists came forward stating results had been altered?

No one is questioning Earth's Climate is doing what it has done since the beginning of time.
Unlike only a few thousand years ago, we are cooler and only at a fraction of the CO2.

1. NASA wasn't here in 1880 to take readings.

2. Its true that the Ice Age is over. It was in the news.

From what I read there has been no pause or flattening of the global warming trend. The last three years have been the warmest on record and 2017 is projected to be warmer still.

The best advice I can give to you is to start reading something different and more truthful. Then you will be seeing that forest you are missing because of the trees that are in the way.

There have been several studies that indicate the change called "global warming" is primarily the result of differences in how and where the readings are taken. Itis now common to take readings in crowded areas, or on the edge of airport runways, where the surface of the runway has much to do in the difference. Many scientists believe that the "warming" is just a combination of where these readings are taken and the difference in accuracy of the equipment used. Taking readings in heavy manufacturing areas does not tell scientists anything except the local warming difference. It would be like taking readings at the foot of a volcano. Sea temperatures are now taken on the surface instead of 5 feet under water, which also accounts for the difference. Add to that the falsifying of data which is now well documented. by the way, when trees are removed from the lower half of a mountain, the readings there will naturally be higher. That is local change not global warming.

Apparently you didn't read my first comment. NOAA has been fudging the land-based temperature to show continued increases. They fudge just enough to show a few thousandths of a degree increase, but that is enough to make headlines in the fake MSM news. And it is just enough to keep millions of federal dollars flowing into the pockets of researchers on the take. Land-based readings are "adjusted" for all kinds of stupid reasons -- a parking lot was built by the temperature recorder, a building was built shading the recorder, trees were cut down, ......... Here is a chart from satellite readings that cannot be fudged. Temperatures have gone sideways since the peak in 1998. A recent spike (not shown on the chart) occurred due to a strong El Nino in 2016, similar to the 2010 El Nino.

There have been several studies that indicate the ... (show quote)

It is documented, that nearly half of NOAA sea temperature monitors are inoperable. Inoperable? And yet data NOAA used in their latest report rely ed on using the incomplete data, but sold it as complete.

I love the idea of global warming and rising ocean levels. We have the possibility of the flooding of the west coast and east coast. Unfortunately, it would also inundate the east coast from about Virginia south. But think of what we could be rid of. Nancy Pelosi, Maxine Waters, San Francisco, New York, the Cuomos, Andrea Mitchell, MSNBC, what's left of the Kennedys, etc. I rub my hands in glee.

If we here in GA are very lucky, it may even reach as far as Atlanta.

then we could just build a wall around Houston in Chicago and the other liberal enclaves and put the survivors from the West and East Coasts there.

You know why. Some know better but it shows support to the liberalism that decayed their brain.
