The liberal media are up to their old tricks again...Trying to turn one group after another against Conservatives. That's why they have falsely claimed Conservatives are engaged in a " War on Women" to spark fear and anger from the public.

One part of promoting the so called " War on Women" has been to promote the myth of the wage gap between men and women. The gender wage gap has long been debunked by everyone, including Liberal publications like POLITIFACT,THE DAILEY BEAST AND SLATE.

Unfortunately the Liberals over at NBC have never let the facts get in the way of promoting their bias.

Are you guys for REAL??? What did Reagan do?? Tripled the deficit. What did bush2 do doubled the deficit and NOT ONE of you complained. Bush2 started the NSA problems we have today and you ALL voted for him.

Why was it ok to have a top tax rate at over 60% from 1940 to 1980?? Were we all socialists for all those years??

Why have we never adjusted social security withholding to keep up with inflation?? In 1976 income subject to withholding was 76,000 in today's dollars that would be 211,000 not the current 114,000.

Exactly what has Obama done that is any different then any other president?? They all have used executive orders and Obama is currently on the low end of the majority of recent presidents.

@ Moose what do you call not passing equal pay for women or getting between women and their doctors?? Women consider it a war on their rights

Good to know the truth.

This is the amount for two trips, Africa and Hawaii.

For President Barack Obama and his family to visit Africa in June 2013 and then Honolulu in December 2013, the cost to taxpayers for flight costs alone were $15,885,585, according to Air Force records obtained through the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) by the government watchdog Judicial Watch.

Almost $16,000,000 for two trips seems a bit extravagant. It would be interesting to see the total for trips unrelated to the business of the country.

Strangely enough, they didn't. GW Bush used an inflatable raft to paddle to meetings in Europe. Laura made him a ton of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches to accompany him on his lonely journey. In London, he pitched his pup-tent in St. James Park, and in Paris he camped out nightly on the lawn of the Louvre.

The money he saved the U.S. treasury was donated to the Dick Cheney-quack-quack school of Penguin Diplomacy.

Auntie E IT would be interesting to see ALL the SPENDING from ALL presidents in inflation adjusted numbers. I am sure you would find that ALL of them spent way more than any of us would find acceptable. Just like the way ALL politicians raise their wages but refuse to raise the minimum wage for those working for practically nothing.

It is my belief the issue is the number of trips and the location thereof. Many President's have traveled; however, usually to their "homes". The President owns a home in Chicago, which he has visited VERY infrequently. His trips to Hawaii are understandable, as he spent much of his youth there with his grandparents. Some of the issue may be he goes one place, she goes one place (separately), the girls go someplace (with or without Mom and Dad).

As usual, the point has escaped you. The numbers are not for official diplomatic trips. The two numbers cited are for V A C A T I O N S at GREAT distances.

Hawaii is very understandable. He spent much of his youth living there with his grandparents, plus it certainly has every other state beat hands down for a vacation venue! :!: Oahu, Maui and the Big Island are amazing.
