As a now 67 year old disabled Vietnam Vet, I keep asking myself what in the hell is it going to take for our suposedly conservative republicans in the house to get off thier butts and do thier job as it is defined in our constitution. To heck with the senate and the lying liberal idiots that have a majority there, the house is a seperate body from the senate and just because another part of our government (the senate) is controlled by a bunch of dumbasscrats does not mean that the house members should sit there with thier tbumbs up thier butts and thier minds on pluto! Hey fools, get on with doing what you should have done the first time obumbo lied to you and the whole country and made it clear he did'nt about what our constitution said, he was going to do what he damn well pleased! That is exactly what they will decide today in the Supreme Court and I really can't see how they will fail. Obama is as arrogant as Hitler was and in every teleprompter speech, a Freudian slip will be heard. He just cannot help himself. He is the daddy and everyone else are his sheep and he has to "control the people" I think is how he put it And wasn't it Rob Emmanuel who said 'every crisis has it's advantages"? Well, he looked around for a crooked business and found the medical profession was the most lucrative. Recently, I had a total hip replacement (I would not recommend it for anyone, no matter how bad it was needed because you get more problems that you every had before) and when they were going to send me to Rehab to learn to walk, they came in and told me it would cost me $75.00 to transport me. I told them I didn't have the money on me. 5 minutes later they came in and said they would transport me for $50.00. I told them that I believed I was covered through my insurance. I most certainly was. My insurance swiftly and without any questions, handed over a check for $565.00. The cost of my transport in the same ambulance and the same ambulance company. I am going to call them and question that. There really is nothing they can say that will make any sense for the over cost, if that's what you would call it. I call if fraud, pure and simple. I want them to send an inquiry to the hospital. So you see, Obama did not have to look far. But Medicare was going to squeeze the last penny out of its patients. Now, they will take money from Medicare and the seniors to help pay the cost for Obamacare for the young and healthy. To top it off, if a doctor sends you to a specialist, and he determines that you need a procedure, now they will not only have to ask the insurance company for permission, there will be an "oversight" panel--a death panel--for the final authority. This will be hard to get and that is why they are telling people if you need a procedure done, do it now and before Obamacare comes in. To top it all off, as in the so called Medical oversight boards, these panels will not consist of doctors who know whether a procedure is needed or can be controlled by medicine. When I didn't want to have my hip replaced, I believed I was too young. I have had so many surgeries in my life that have gone wrong that my doctor and I went through a gauntlet of drugs that would control the pain. I also have degenerative disk disease, scoliosis with a pinched nerve in the middle of it, the degenerative hip and arthritis throughout both legs. I have rods in my right knee, a screw in my right knee and they took out one kidney. So, I was highly reluctant to have anymore invasive surgeries. As I was saying, my doctor and I tried everything and every pain drug out there until we decided to try Methadone. Many people believe that it is only for heroin users but in fact it was first made for severe pain control. After I started that, I was able to walk without pain. He got flak from the State Board so he reduced my dose in half just to keep me comfortable and to keep me out of a wheelchair or another surgery. The State Board went into his office in the middle of the night with a warrant to search his office and didn't even bother to get a warrant for his patient records--thus ignoring the HPPA laws. He called me and just a few others who he was giving narcos to ( a few out of 1200 patients) and said that I must be a "junkie" and an "abuser." I wrote a scathing letter back to them and told them that I had made a confidential decision between me and my doctor, who had explained to me the seriousness of taking controlled medication vs. the surgery and the consequences of both. I made what I believed was an informed decision of what I thought was right for me at that time in my life. Apparently, what I think does not matter. If a horse was in the pain I was in, it would be put down. The upcoming "panel" will be no different. In Obamacare, even if (like me) you have never drank or have done street drugs in your life, you will have to pay for it in your insurance. Yep, disgraceful. Needless to say my doctor went broke trying to defend his good name(he had been my doctor for 30yrs. and saved my life twice) he was also a good and diligent man but the State Board wants the Methadone Clinics to have the control that makes it a business instead of a place where addicts can come to get counseling and to get off of heroin with the help of methadone, not to keep you on it, which is exactly what it now want, as is doing to people who need help. Instead, they keep the patient on it to make that $300.00/month. And if you ask for a decrease because you want to get yourself off of the Methadone, which now you are addicted to it and is 50 times more powerful than heroin They will let you detox, maybe 5 mg. a month, thereby keeping you on it until the very last penny is wrenched out of you. However, like I said, it is very addicting and the high, if not controlled, is better than heroin; if you want an increase, you get it immediately without even having to see the doctor! Sounds better than doing heroin on the streets--and it is for those whose life revolves around getting stoned and for those whose parents can afford it. Those who truly want off of it or who want to stay on "maintenance" another word for forever, the only social good I can see is that it forces the addict to get a job to pay for it. Now addicts have to steal 6 to 10 times more than they ever had to by
doing heroin because the cost is 10-12 $ a day! Very medically sound, huh? Nope, the only real help an addict can get are those "Malibu" type spa-like places that do not take insurances, cash only and "claim" you only have to do it once--that is true alright, once and your home, cars and everything your parents have are pawned to get your kid into one of these places. At least, if it still is the America I was raised in, the Supreme Court will get its head out of its asses and will have to go along with the law of the land--the Constitution. There is no other way I see that it can go.

It took time to get them in and entrenched the way that they are now and it will take time to remove them. Moose and 'I owe' -you both took the words right out of my mouth. 'I owe' was talking about the death panels. I talked about it one time and people said I was crazy and wrong. 'I owe', you seem to be living proof of this panel. They not only decide who lives or dies, but they also decide who gets treatment and who doesn't. Boy, obama knows right where to hit us with this crap - our health. He's a ruler much like hitler and does what he wants when he wants. My husband is on strong pain meds and we have to go through an act of congress just to get his meds. Then getting them filled is another drastic episode. The pharmacist asked him why he is taking it and specifically what part of the body was painful. It was personal questions that he had to answer in front of other people that were standing around. So, the new rules are hitting the pharmacies, too. The ACA is an outrage and is anything but affordable. Obama is gaining control of the people In our country and wants it to me a muslim country with sharia law. He is succeeding with it and has to be stopped. This is more than just a democrat vs the republicans deal. This is our nation going down the drain at an alarming rate. I just wish the dems could see it, then we could pull together and save our country. For you dems - obama is not your savior. He has an agenda that will ruin this country. Open your eyes and mind and try to see what we are talking about. I used to be a democrat. I changed while clinton was in office. He disgraced the nation by getting blow jobs in the Whitehouse. What a role model. I voted for Bush and Romney. I would not ever vote for obama, as I can see through him.
