Under intense scrutiny for straight-arming Israel and making concessions with Iran, President Barack Obama is receiving more criticism for appointing an Iranian-born attorney as a top White House adviser who has been called the architect of the recent Iran nuke deal.
Senior Advisor to the President Valerie Jarrett, who was born in Shiraz, Iran, has orchestrated much of the United States; nuclear framework agreement with Iran, which is slated for finalization in late June. The negotiations, which are reported to be setting up a nuclear Iran against Israels warning, are reported by WND to be heavily influenced by the allegedly Iranian-leaning adviser.
According to the former deputy undersecretary of defense for intelligence, retired Lt. Gen. William G. Jerry Boykin, who served during the George W. Bush administration, Jarretts key role in the negotiations all but assures a future nuclear Iran.
There are many who are now saying that [Jarrett] is really the architect of this non-treaty with the Iranians, which ultimately will result in the Iranians having a nuclear program, and America having to accept a nuclear-armed Iran, Boykin told Fox News before Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu warned Congress about the dangers of striking a nuclear deal with the Islamic Republic.
Anti-patriotism link with Obama?
Jarrets common anti-American exceptionalism worldview and similar overseas experience growing up is cited as having much to do with Obamas gravitation toward her as a major influence in his decisions as president.
In explaining how she first grew close to Obama, Jarrett says they traded stories of their youthful travels, Ethics and Policy Center Senior Fellow Stanley Kurtz explained in a National Review article back in 2011, where he stressed that both reject traditional American exceptionalism. One hallmark of Americas exceptionalist perspective, of course, is our unique alliance with a democratic Israel, even in the face of intense criticism of that alliance from much of the rest of the world,
In his piece, Kurtz let Jarretts words speak for themselves, as quoted by Obamas biographer, David Remnick.
He and I shared a view of where the United States fit in the world, which is often different from the view people have who have not traveled outside the United States as young children, Jarrett explained.
According to Remnick, Jarretts allegiance is not solely aligned with the United States, but with all the nations in which she has lived and visited growing up.
[Jarrett] felt that she had come to see the United States with a greater objectivity as one country among many, rather than as the center of all wisdom and experience, Remnick pointed out.
WND also notes that a Fox News report directly preceded the 2012 p**********l e******n about covert communications rumored between the U.S. and Iran dubbed as an October Surprise. It was implied by later reports that these White House talks with Tehran were facilitated by Jarrett.
Mrs. Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser to President Obama, and originally from Chicago, was the main and central player in behind-the-scene talks between U.S. and Iran leaders, reported an independent Persian blog. [Jarrett] attempted to facilitate communication between officials on both sides.
Even though neither side would corroborate the premature talks, it is noted that the cards are stacked against Jarrett, who has a record of sympathizing with Americas enemies.
Officials on both sides vigorously denied the reports, Fox News said, but Jarretts foreign policy record offers evidence of her influence, WNDs Jerome Corsi explains. Jarrett allegedly urged Obama to cancel the operation to k**l Osama bin Laden three times before the Navy SEALs mission [on] May 2, 2011, according to Richard Miniters book Leading From Behind: The Reluctant President and the Advisors Who Decide for Him.
The fact that Jarrett, as a p**********l adviser, is under intense Secret Service protection is also drawing suspicion.
Jarrett seems to have a 24-hour, around-the-clock (security) detail, with five or six agents full time, Pat Caddell, a Democratic pollster, told Breitbart. The media has been completely uninterested.
Caddell says that it is disturbing to see that a p**********l aide receives such protection while no such security precautions are taken to protect Americas foreign diplomats in war-torn countries under jihadist attack.
We dont provide security for our ambassador in Libya, but she needs a full Secret Service security detail, Caddell continued. And nobody thinks theres anything wrong with this.
Smoke and mirrors
Corsi also points out that Jarretts clandestine negotiations with Iran have been intentionally hidden from public view.
In November 2013, Israeli TV reported the Geneva negotiations between the P5+1 powers the US, Britain, France, Russia, China, plus Germany and Iran were a mere facade, because the terms of a deal on Irans nuclear program had been negotiated in talks between Jarrett and a leading Iranian nuclear official that had continued in secret for more than a year, Corsi notes. Israels Channel 10 said the Obama administration did not keep Israel fully informed on those talks.
The cover-up was quickly exposed, but it reportedly received little attention.
White House spokeswoman Bernadette Meehan was quoted by Haaretz as saying the report, which relied on unnamed senior Israeli officials, was absolutely, 100 percent false, Corsi added. The Channel 10 report said Jarrett led a U.S. team that met with the head of the Atomic Energy Organization of Iran, Ali Akbar Salehi, in various Gulf states. According to Israeli TV, the secret channel marginalized Kerry and was overseen by the president.
Living in America, grounded abroad?
Jarrett lived in Iran for five years after she was born to her African-American parents in Shiraz, Iran, in 1956. Running a chidlrens hospital as a pathologist and geneticist, Jarretts father, James Bowman, led a program to assist medical and agricultural efforts in developing nations. Jarrett and her family then lived to London for a year before moving to Chicago in 1963.
In 1974, Jarrett graduated from Northfield Mount Hermon and went on to Stanford University to earn a B.A. in Psychology in 1978. She received a J.D. in 1981 from the University of Michigan Law School.
Jarretts parents decided to move to Iran after her father ended his military service in 1955 because he and his wife, Barbara Bowman, couldnt stand anything that smacked of segregation, according to a University of Chicago Hospitals biography discovered by WND.
Due to the influence of her parents and their overseas experience, Jarrett acquired an acute interest in foreign affairs, leading her to learn the language of Farsi (spoken in Iran) and French, according Grove City College Political Science Professor Paul Kengors 2011 piece in American Spectator.
Jarrett and the rise of Obama
Kengor wrote that Jarrett, having lived in Chicago with Obama, has been dubbed by the New York Times as the presidents old hometown mentor who helped him ascend to the presidency at every level of his career.
Valerie would become super-close to both Obamas, and especially to Barack and his political horizons, becoming arguably his top advisor over the course of two decades, Kengor explained. Barack paused to check the boxes with Valerie, and she opened doors and greased the skids.
Kengor also reported how Obama was mentored by C*******t Party USA member Frank Marshall Davis, who served with Jarretts father-in-law, Vernon Jarrett, at the Citizens Committee to Aid Packing-House Workers in Chicago. Kengor added that Obama would not be where he is today without Jarrett.
[One could argue] that no other person on the planet has done more to help the Obamas get to where they are today, Kengor concluded.
