Although I agree unions accomplished many good things, it is not clear what else they want. Is it just the same as John L. Lewis's answer to that question ,"More?" The export of jobs will be opposed until there is some measire of of the price increases that would be necessary to enable domestic companies to pay union wages to produce all of the consumer products we demand. Moreover, we could have a trade war if we attempted keep the cheap imports out. Finally, unless all countries are willing to fair -trade these items we would lose out in international trade because our prices wouldn't be competitive.
