My understanding that McCain Feingold was a deeply flawed law. Wh**ever was passed was it not allowing one side an advantage over the other? Frankly, if all money was left out of politics then the legislators can v**e their consciences but there is no way of doing that. Of course unfettered donations are harmful, but on the other hand, aren't the receivers as guilty as the donors? Nobody is forcing these bums in Washington to accept the bribes. Why not make it illegal to accept certain types of funds rather than going after the donors

Haven't unions been allowed all along to give unlimited amounts of money to campaigns? If that's the case, why not corporations? I don't like either side having those rights, but if one has them, the other should also. No?

Regan was the most successful president of our time, so in order to make the regressives (née progressives) not realize how extraordinary his presidency was they have to knock him. Compare the Regan years to the Obama years and you wonder why anyone stays left

TO KHH1. A funny thing happened on the way to the forum, I mentioned they were hurting ALL SLUM CHILDREN, and you presumed black. You very well may be a r****t, at least your answer indicated that

It's basically a war against all slum children. The govt remands them to horrible schools rather than letting them go out if their neighborhoods to choose to go to better schools. The president and New Yorks mayor both allow the teachers union to control them. In NY he even tried to block a charter school in Harlem that had the highest math scores in the state. It seems that the far left is against educating the poor slum kids, whether black or white.

What is it that Bill Oreilly and Megyn Kelly did? Don't just throw a pastiche of things against the wall, be more specific. Or would it bother you that if you are specific the charges can be checked?

Thank you for a great insight. You've shed more light on the subject then I could have with my limited writing ability. You hit every point perfectly. Be proud

The fault isn't really with Obama. He obviously doesn't care about people and it shows in every way. The fault us with the press who refuses to call him out on his evil mission. A dishonest press is necessary for him to continue his destruction.

My sentiments exactly. The funnier part is that those that call Fox News liars without knowing, are probably big fans of MSNBC which have been outed lying quite a few times

Bunk. O'reilly mentioned many times that experts said the birth certificate was valid. I love the fact that the people who don't watch Fox News seem to know what they are saying, meaning they are probably getting their information, well, let's just say, not first hand

How are they obvious? Remember, you can't lie when you're giving an opinion. You can lie when you talk about shovel ready jobs, you can keep your insurance, Isis is the uv. I can go on and on.

What a crock. The liar in chief calling anyone a liar is nothing more than a sick joke. Of course he misquotes because he's on a tear trying to denigrate free speech. His policies have been so poor that he's just afraid of dissent. Never heard anyone, George Bush or Regan denigrate MSNBC, whom the president would love for people to listen to

Apparently no one will. That is the pathetic part of the political process. The press seems to want her.

Besutifully done. Omitted from the argument is that as Secretary of State, to take money from foreign countries, whether honestly or dishonestly, gives the appearance of impropriety ( not necessarily impropriety, but the appearance of it) is so damming for someone running for president, that she shows such poor judgement that she should be denied the presidency on that alone. You need someone with judgement

I don't go back as far as you did, but, I am also an independent and also hold my nose when I decide to v**e, which is about half the time, because when you are offered two jerks, as we usually are, I can't v**e for either. But your remarks are noted and brilliantly executed. Congratulations on a job well done
