Old Roy, I used church as a community not in the religious sense. ie: communities of people tend to be indifferent to being hostile toward change I guess was my point.
Therefore, any changes we can attempt will have to be able to overcome this apathy.
This will cost me friends but...I believe all drugs should be legalized. That the money saved should be spent on rehab. Just think how many more Mexicans we could work for next to nothing as their economy folded. Just look at how upset they got during the marajuana legalization debate in California?
This "War on Drugs" has accidentally become a "War on Americans" unfortunately as we have to stop between cities and declare we are not carrying drugs while also declaring we are American citizens. This is bulls**t and an invasion of my privacy in a major way. Maybe those who live outside the Southwest don't have to experience this intrusion?
When is the one, most important time if you had lived in New Orleans you would have wanted your guns? Yet, during the floods of Katrina the police were going door to door to confiscate law abiding citizens guns. Maybe you need to keep a clunker around to "give up?"

If they were mainly k*****g white Christian men, women and children of American descent? I doubt it would be much different except for the usual gun grab.

You know people drift into church and they have all these ideas about how "they" are going to change how we worship. At my age I just laugh because I know the vast inertia they will have to overcome will always swamp them.
When I was younger I fought against them as I looked at them as wolves come amongst the sheep to slaughter them. Now, I just shrug and let the indifference handle most problems.
Who knows? Maybe this is also the saving grace of American?
These useful i***ts think when the USA falls these stunts will save them spots with the new masters. They just don't realize t*****rs are the first to be rounded up. But at least he'll be invited to all the "right" parties and he will believe he's famous while the word infamous will probably be his tag in history.
