No sir~~I blame the 51% that v**ed for him not once but twice..I blame the R's that stayed home, rather than getting out to v**e and I blame the continued ignorance of many whom stand in defiance of this country by continuing to sweep everything that man does under the rug~~media as well....

He is by far the worst man in office, surpassing Clinton, Nixon, Carter etal..He deserves no respect..He made the once defined office of Respect a laughing joke to the World and before the citizens of this great country..respect is likewise earned and he has earned nothingggg...

...OK ...so what about the various tribes over the past 10,000 years that hunted their way down coasts and inland to the plains or central continent? ...they laid claim to the territories and fought over the territories for various reasons...they weren't a single tribe...so why would the introduction of Europeans, Spaniards, French, Italians, Brits, Irish, Africans, be any different when it comes to violating the indigenous people that predated any of the other tribes...right now we Americans are the indigenous people getting ready to be overtaken so to speak with the those 'i******s' 'barbarians" with their diseases and their tribal isms and their 'gangs' and different ways than us indigenouses...after all the Europeans had their diseases, and strange ways and they were only friendly when it benefited them....for the most part they looked at the indigenous people as godless heathens...the tribes discredited each other....both sides had new diseases to spring on each other....what I am saying is that we have a kind of ethnocentric lens we look through on history and the current processes really have not changed that much for eons of time... with that said should the borders just be left to trespass by anyone who is motivated to cross the river to get here? ...that seems to be this chief-in-commander's invitation...thousands of people side stepping the regular line of tribes who have honored our requirement of hoops to jump over to get to this happy hunting ground..

The people are the s***es to corporations. Corporations have no allegiance to any thing but maximizing profits. When a corporation announces intention to move to Bangledesh or some such, the government should move to confiscate the plant and equipment and turn ownership over to the employees converting the facility to an employee owned enterprise With government financing until such time that the business becomes profitable. Products from the corporation should be instructed to sell their s**t to the Bangledeshiees and banned from sale in the US forever. The allegiance thing can work both ways

I beg to differ. There is more to Franklins thinking than what I posted. He was very much, as I said, in his own eloquent way, addressing term limits. The idea of public service for short periods was the intent; after which the public servant would return to the ranks of the masters, the people to see how it's all working. The concept of perpetual service leading to boundless wealth was never the intent.

Omitting term limits was a grievous oversight if not stupid neglect. It could have been worse? How? The separation of powers has been breached and there is no turning back. Precedent among the most powerful weapons in law.

As I also said, prior to the amendment there was no function in the constitution for term limits. As I said; it might be the fatal flaw. The amendment simply makes it easier for the criminals that gravitate to politics to 'buy' their office from the public sector.

I myself was never that keen on term limits. The past 6 years have showed me the error of that thinking. Anyone thinking this is not serious or that the recent events in Mississippi are just 'politics as usual'...think again. This is not a partisan issue...
