Not even in Texas can you shoot trespassers, and the suggestion that shooting little kids fleeing violence and poverty is a good idea is pretty pathetic.

Actually you can if you fill your property is in danger of being destroyed or stolen. although I do agree that shooting children is not a good thing to do

In Texas you can shoot a person or anyone trespassing on your property, the only requirement is, it has to be posted, after that they are open season.
