Thanks dennisimoto, I guess its too late to read the post I spent over an hour on trying to make it as good as possible!
Trust me, if you debate me, I win, you lose! That's it, period!
I used to be a conservative. Now I'm a liberal/progressive. The reason is economics. The aftermath of the new deal was better for the middle class and the nation between 1945 and 1980 than the raw deal that followed between 1981 to the present. Conservatives can't show one long term economic indicator that makes their case! Not one!
Adjusted to constant 2014 dollars, in 1968:
1. 69% of American households earned more than the median household income in 2012.
2. 79% earned more than $31,244 which was the median income for the bottom 90%
3. 25% earned between $69,000 and $100,400.
4. 12.2% earned between $100,401 and $167,399
5. My 1967 hourly pay at Armco Steel was $4.85/hr which = $33.97/hr. in 2014 or $70,658 per year. Company paid benefits = another $28,665 per year for a total of-- heck what am I doing writing all of this stuff? I just notice I can upload files. Stay tuned suckers!
