What you say about torture of prisoners by the CIA is pretty much right I think with the exception of torture by water boarding. That is torture. Whenever you begin to fear for your life under stress applied by someone else and you have no control to alleviate that stress, it is torture.

The issue I have with the release of information on the actions the CIA took is the giving of aid and comfort to our enemies. Also giving them reason for signing up to k**l anyone that disagrees with their ideologies.

This release makes our world a more dangerous place to live. I am also sure that it is the aim of most of our politicians in D.C. to under mine our Republic and make an Islamic state of us. There is much evidence of this among this administration and the Pelosi/Reid cartel that has dominated our government.

The releasing of a skewed document such as this CIA report is propaganda to draw attention away from the real issues facing us since 2008. Too many people are being fooled into thinking this CIA report release is relevant and important when it is more smoke and mirrors.

I have to agree we need to respect ISIS ideology of burring America in blood. Of course America should not underestimate their resolve either. I respect that ISIS is serious in their ideology. Any religious tenant held by people is very serious to them and needs to be respected by others.

Of course being one of those whom ISIS wants to k**l I'll defend myself and family to the best of my ability against being k**led.

It is the function of government to protect its citizens securing their security allowing the citizens to pursue happiness. It is a constitutional guarantee here in the USA.

However I begin to wonder if our government since Truman has ever considered we are in a war and not a police action against those who would bury us in blood. Our presidents have only attempted to contain our enemies. Attempting containment is nothing more than capitulation and allowing our avowed enemy room to grow. Obama says we will be at war for another 30 years? It could be over within 6 months if our government were serious about putting and end to this conflict. Our government has never been really serious about defending our shores since 1945 and maybe several other administrations before then.

Hilary? She should be sent over to Iraq to live and see how empathy works for her. She's a mental midget.

I I got one and it plainly states "Do Not File With your Return. Keep it for your own records." Then the instructions do not say to have my dependant sign it either.

My question is 'Why no reply after three months from the IRS to my letter replying to their initial letter? Except to be singled out to teach me something. Like being a patriot is not being politically correct anymore.

My wife spent hours over our 2013 income tax return. We both read and studied the 1040 tax book sent to us by the IRS. double checked and rechecked every entry. We know how through the IRS can be finding or inventing mistakes on forms and claims sent in.

We sent in our tax return and we found we had over paid by (Get this) $60.

We live on Social Security a Veterans small benefit and a small annuity. out of that we find a way to support my son who is sixty years old and out of work.

I am a terrorist veteran of the Korean Police Action. I served my country with honor. I have never threatened anyone with any kind of bodily harm except in line with my military duty assignments. Always paid my just taxes to the USA to for many years.

Now I am 83 years old and have not as yet done my final duty to be buried. Many of my generation have. I'm just waiting my turn.

Now the IRS has sent me a letter saying We did not file 2 forms. One was a 2021 and Iforgot what the other was. Called the IRS hot line and was told by that agent the forms did not pertain to my situation adn I had to write a letter to the agent that held my return. I did that and explained I had no idea what they were talking about and to call me so we could talk about it or write a more detailed letter. That was 3 months ago. and no reply. I think the problem is my terrorist connection with the military back in 1948 - 1952.

Got any views on the matter?

when you realize just how many citizens are fleeing the economic wasteland of California. The Golden State saw the third-highest level of outmigration (behind New York and Illinois), and was joined in the top 10 by New Jersey, Michigan, Ohio, Connecticut, Missouri, Pennsylvania and Indiana. That’s a list that ought to keep the left up at night.

As long as there is a government there will be corruption, the best way to limit that corruption is to limit the government itself.

The Mormons I have heard have great welfare system. You get the help you need and in return you work if you are capable in their bakeries and farms etc. in return you get your needs until you find employment again.

The counter side to this is our governments way. just apply for welfare and get a stipend that is a starvation help unless you are an illegal or brought here as a displaced person. Then the treasury vault is wide open. Let the good times roll baby.

Us seniors stay awake long enough to make Obama shake in his N**i boots. He fore got to give us some of that free stuff along with the ghetto poor.

If the Tea Party has such a hard time getting their 501 c3, then the NFL is spending the charity on kick backs to the heads of the IRS and Obama's campaign. Gotta love that NFL for that. NOT!!!

Nowhere in our Constitution does it mention the word religion except for in exclusionary terms. The words God, Jesus, Bible or Christianity were never mentioned, not once!

That is a non-argument. The founders used the Bible to form the constitution. They used the Bible by the way they were raised. Mostly Christian, and those who were deists were raised by moral parents. Morality came about by implication of Jewish law even though other nations around the time of founding of Israel had laws governing everything thing contained in the Bible while missing some very important issues.

Our constitution contains all of the Christian principles. Not many other countries I know of do. Even King James when he authorized his t***slation of scripture made sure the king was dominate as the head and vicar of God on earth. The quotes of Peter and Paul have some scholarly concerns because of King James intervention. Subjects your researcher avoids for good reason.

The article you use for your informed information is basically in error.

1 Peter 2:13: "For the Lord's sake accept the authority of every human institution, whether of the emperor as supreme, or of governors, as sent by him to punish those who do wrong and to praise those who do right."

Paul wrote in Romans 13:1: "Let every person be subject to the governing authorities; for there is no authority except from God, and those authorities that exist have been instituted by God. Therefore whoever resist authority resists what God has appointed, and those who resist will incur judgment."

The Bible quote refers to established authority within established countries. When the Quakers and other persecuted people of religion first came to these shores, there was no ruling authority established. That is unless you give that the various native tribes were the authority on these shores.

The king of England from where the first ships sailed from were prior to their landing subjects of an established authority but had renounced the authority when they left England. They were no longer under that authority.

That being the case of renouncing their citizenship has been recognized by the vast majority of established countries. The first people to come here were in fact Christians. That establishes the setting up of a Christian nation based upon biblical principles. They lived by those principles using their Bibles as law, as they understood its meaning. (I'm not saying their use of the Bible was perfect, just that they used the laws and principles contained in it as their way of life).

That said and confirmed by whoever put the article together. It states that "Some were Christians that established our constitution." Every president took his oath of office swearing that oath with his hand upon the Christian Bible. Every president owned and kept a Bible of his own in his desk. Every president prayed to the God of the Bible and attended a recognized Christian Church in Washington D.C. when the capitol was established there. Every president celebrated Christian holidays. AS far as I can remember and recall from history we did not have one atheist or anti Christian president until Obama. Even he said he is a Christian. But saying and being are not synonymous.

So your Statement is not true nor is the person who pulled together all this information have standing on t***h. I have seen and so have you how politicians and others can pull together information to prove their view as being correct when in fact it is not. Try the fiasco of Obama's ACA and Obama's statements concerning it.

If you don't think that Obamacare is the most tyrannical act yet unleashed, you are a fool. Moreover, if you were a member of the Tea Party, you would know that we are working to get real conservatives elected so the ACA can be addressed.

Exactly my point. The ACA is just as you described it. My point is that the only way to get rid of this monstrosity to get control over both the Senate and the House. And the flip side to insure that Elephant Ears can not veto the repeal is to have the capacity and will to impeach him. With Obama gone and Biden gone at the same time who becomes President? A Republican. Right?

The fight against the ACA at the present time, even though it is the right battle, it is being fought at the wrong time. It is a battle that needs to be fought with a guarantee of a win. Today is not that day. I only wish it were.
