On Tuesday, Paul Ryan, Chairman of the House Budget Committee, released his proposed Fiscal Year 2015 budget, which increases spending in 2015 and 2016 but would balance the budget within ten years with planned cuts in out years that are more speculative.

Ryan is part of the moderate GOP establishment...which is not much different than the moderate Democrats (if there is such a thing as a moderate Democrat).

You contradict your initial premiss, without defining normal, saying that homosexuals don't want to be normal because it is 'becoming cool to be gay'. So which is it, a treatable disease or whimsical fancy? If it's just whimsical fancy to be 'cool' it's been cool in recorded history at least 3000 years before Christ.? On the other hand there is research published across the medical, psychological, psychiatric, archeological and anthropological disciplines of science going back many decades and empirical as it may be, it all seems to conclude that same sex attraction is prevalent in nature in a remarkable number of species. None of these research suggests medical a******lity as causal or treatable. It appears to be a natural phenomenon.

I think Christians still believe God created man (and by association, woman) in his own image. In your simple mind I'm sure that means we look like him. I seriously doubt you consider the higher aspects of this seemingly simple proclamation; that perhaps man was created from a complex blueprint, a DNA image. First, your are factually incorrect in asserting that Romney won the popular v**e - he didn't.

Each state has an e*******l v**e for each Senator (always two) and each Representative (the number is a function of the population of the state) from that state. There are 435 representatives - and the number from each state is established proportinate to the previous census (taken each year ending in 0).




Most states have a winner take all system, that is whoever wins the popular v**e in the state gets all of the state's e*******l v**es. So, for example, candidate A can get 51% of the popular v**e in a state and end up with 100% of that state's e*******l v**es.

This system - Senators being fixed at 2 each, and Representatives being a function of population was our Founding Fathers attempt to get those states with lower populations to join the Union, having some assurance that the more populus states could not overwhelm them - it is part of the intended system of checks and balances - and it is what make us a democratic republic and not a pure democracy.
