Just a suggestion for your own good Don...maybe you better lower your expectations and just enjoy th ride. I know, took me a while to get it too. Very occasionally there might be a decent conversation, but only VERY.

"Btfkr", even your pseudo name reeks of the gutter---and I note, you did not address any of my points. Are you "one of them"? And, just what was "It" that took you so long to get? And, as for your "suggestion" for my own good; it is the "lowering of expectations" that has gotten this great country into this position. "Hating" requires conscious effort, brain activity and overall is counter productive in that it always clouds judgment. Can we all get back to the issues at hand?

So how about my question? Are you not able to answer it? Not likely! You will make up excuses for Obama no matter what he does. You call me a troll yet, you are the one that can not think for yourself. You listen to everything the democrats churn out and believe it no matter if it is true or not!

Will you people stop this game of one-on-one, off-subject "mental masturbation" and let the rest of us get back to the real issues at hand? As some old sage said, "you are stepping on ants while lions are leaping through the windows"! Go get you "kicks" on Facebook or some other place that allows such drivel!

Too many of you still don't "get it" This one-on-one, off-subject, profanity, obnoxious nicknames and overall gutter talk (mental masturbation) is designed by "plants" (trolls?) whose object is to take our focus off of the real issues of the day. The serious readers could care less as to how stupid, wrong, illiterate or obnoxious you all are. Then there many of you good people who jump right in and "play their game", and unwittingly become one of the "plants"----"gullibility", at its finest.

True capitalism has never failed. What we have today is crony capitalism also known as corporatism. Government and business have joined together at the hip to enrich the 1% elite and those in power at the highest levels of government. Meaning the president and the career politicians of both parties. True capitalism away from the corruption of the CEO's and government, will raise everyone's standard of living. This i***tic capitalism we are living under now will reduce America to a 3rd world country. An economic collapse and currency crisis is just over the horizon. This is being brought to you by our past and current governments and the corrupt CEO's of the nation's largest corporations.

Capitalism does and frequently has failed, right here in the U.S. when government and big business starts manipulating both supply and demand. Not too many years ago one could drive by the gasoline stations and find them lowering the price by a half-cent or more in order to get business. Now, I have a daughter-in-law who manages a truck stop, who has been instructed to drive by the other stations and record prices and then raise her's UP to that of the others. Somewhere along the line, we have forgotten how to "build the better (and cheaper) "mouse trap"----and now there are very few "mom and Pop" service stations, meat markets, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. It is time to find another "Teddy" Roosevelt with his "big stick" to dismantle the big businesses and monopolies.

Sir, keep it civil and "on-subject". Your profanity, obnoxious nicknames and gutter talk seriously detracts from the message you are trying to convey---if you would not "say it" to your grandmother or parents, do not put it on the internet for the whole world to see how low-class you are.

Sir, either keep it civil or keep it to yourself! While you may on occasion have a valid point, it gets lost in the gutter. I suggest that if you would not say it to your grandmother or parents, don't put it on the internet for the whole world to know, you are "low class".

The above post is a classical case of off-subject "mental masturbation", a common affliction among those who feel they must comment, but have no valid civil "on-subject"

Yeah, look at Hitler's rise to power, nobody h**ed him and look at how well that worked out for the world.

Compare that to our mean and h**eful founding fathers that took a stand against the king.

They wanted free speech and the right to pursue their own happiness and the king didn't want to give it to them so they had to take their freedom by the gun, bleed and die for it.

Now look at the mess we’re in, all this freedom and liberty, what a mess.

And none of this would have happened if they hadn't spread their very contagious hatred of tyranny among the children and the uninformed. They contaminated many "others" with their sense of freedom and liberty, how d********g is that?

They should have learned to love their role as peasant and graciously excepted the role of economic s***e for the nobility and the king.
Yeah, look at Hitler's rise to power, nobody h**ed... (show quote)

Sir, you still "don't get it". Your h**eful ranting and raving has made you part of the problem. And, you can rest assured, our Founding Fathers, for the most part, acted, using logic, deductive reason and common sense---there was no room for h**e as that interferes with those processes.

For all commenters, here is some real "stuff" to open your eyes about our President. It is a book, by Aaron Klein and Brenda Elliott, entitled, "Impeachable Offenses: The Case For Removing Barack Obama From Office". WND normally sells it for about $25.00 but have it on sale for $4.99. WND sent a free copy to all in congress. I did not find any significant errors or omissions in it and highly recommend it. I seriously recommend if the President is impeached that he also be charged with "gross poor judgment". Then, if he realizes some of the other charges may result in criminal charges and jail, he might "cop-a-plea" for the judgment charge and resign. And while I would h**e for him to get off "scot-free", doing so might prevent widespread "blood in the streets" by his followers. Of course, the "process" should require him appeal to his supporters, not to participate in any acts of violence.

I am 82 years "young" and I advise no one to "h**e" anybody---that requires serious emotional involvement and energy, of which both could be more effectively applied in solving the problem(s). Also, h**e is very contagious, especially for children and the uninformed---and if you are "wrong", you will have contaminated many "others".

I h**e to tell you but it's not the format that's the problem, it's you. You just don't know how to quote a post. I'll give you a hint: It's what the Quote Reply link is for. You see how I did it so everyone knows I'm replying to your post?

And who Sir, are you? It that your name above, on the left margin, outside and removed from of the "boxed" comment block? You can see by reading all of the posts, that many others are confused by the format---editorially or just communication wise) it makes little or no sense. I have probably 3-4 thousand posts on the internet, and. this is the most confusing setup I have encountered. I also find it very distracting in some cases where the "newer" comment blocks are at the very bottom of a list of dozens other comments, instead of on top---'tis hard to teach an 82-year old dog new tricks. For the commenters, one and all: First the posting format is terrible as one cannot determne who is talking to who. and as to who said what about which issue(s). Also, all too many commenters use indefinite pronouns which further obscures the continuity. Also, a two-year term does not even give a person time to sort out the "in-house" procedures, and who is who, and much legislation requires more than 2-years to get "massaged" and passed. I stick with my 2-four year terms for the house, and retaining the present (single) six and 4 year terms for the Senate and the Oval Office. Members of both houses, if otherwise qualified, could run for the presidency but first must resign their present office (we don't want any elected or appointed officials, running for another office at government expense (other than the house, which would have a 2-term eligibility). Also, a house member should be eligible to run for a senate seat, but not vice-versa (but must resign their present seat). Also, a pension plan for all is a necessity, as not only to set the example for private industry but to compensate those who give so much time out of their working years. The pension should be a fully portable, contributory, defined contribution plan, with one's pensions being that which the individual's total accumulation would support at their normal retirement age. I also believe congresspersons should be paid by the state they represent, with a cap of 3-times the annual median salary of the citizens in the state they represent---when their citizens make more, they can make more. Also, we must compensate our elected representatives with wages that match the responsibilities, and rewords them for the time away from their home state.

I've written on other forums that the federal government should have never been given any authority to meddle in people's lives, such as taxing citizens in any way, shape or form. The states should decided if they want to support a budget the feds propose, then either fund it or not fund it from state coffers. If the states cannot arrive at a conclusion satisfactory to all, the budget doesn't get funded. The states will of course have to wring the money out of the citizens, but if logic reigned (perish the thought) each state has more right to tax than does the federal government. States are constitutionally responsible for its citizens' well being. The feds are constitutionally responsible for our safety from foreign invaders - NOT all the crap they now see as "theirs" to dictate. It is how it gets its power and can eventually any day they choose, o*******w our form of government. With states holding the purse strings, anyone in the federal government would have a hard time o*******wing it. (We now know how easy that little task is).
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ br I've written on o... (show quote)
Sir, surely you jest. It takes money, and lots of it, to support a military, navy, FAA, social security , highway systems and thousands of other required functions. Neither this country nor the 50 states could exist, without tax revenue. In the past (and now the present administration) tried to "just print money". They tell a story of a shopper in Germany, after WW-I, took a wheelbarrow load of his country's money to a store to buy groceries. He left the load of money in a corner, went shopping and returned to get his money to pay he bill---the money was there but the wheelbarrow was gone. Sir, just how would you run a country without money?---you would not even have a sidewalk or a paved street to travel or a policeman, street cleaner----chaos or anarchy would prevail. The 16th Amendment (ratified by 3/4 of the states), clearly states, "The Congress shall have the power to lay and collect taxes on incomes, from wh**ever source derived.....". Keep in mind, the two mottos that have contributed to the success of this great country, "United We Stand, Divided We Fall", and "...Because, without America, there is no Free World". Again, what is your solution, in some detail? Please.
Any change will require an Amendment to the Constitution and we need to change more than just the term issue---it is proven that congresspersons and the President can get into a lot of trouble in 8 years. I suggest term limits of one 4-year term for the house, one 6-year term for the Senate and one 4-year term for the president. It was never intended that there would be such an animal as a "career politician" who could retire as a millionaire. Also, both house and senate members, if qualified, could run for the presidency, but first, they would have to resign their present elected office. Also a house member could run for the senate, but again only if they resigned their house seat. And, senators would be prohibited from running for a house seat. Pensions would be a government nation-wide plan, open to all local, state and federal elected or appointed officials and funded by the agency they represent. Their pension plan would be a fully portable, contributory, defined contribution plan that could be moved to any new contribution plan in the private or public sector. Individual pensions at retirement would be that amount the individuals fund would support. Also, all congressional salaries should be paid by the states that they represent, with a cap of 3-times the median annual salary of the citizens in their state---when their citizens make more, the congressperson can make more. The present method of the federal government paying for congressional services, generates a "loyalty" (or intimidation) issue for each member. We also need a simplified method of recalling congress persons, "for cause"---if we "can v**e them in" we should be able to "v**e them out" and not have to wait for their term to expire. There is much more, but time is of the essence.
Blue, the latest actual "count" of Muslims, is years old. The best "guess" is there are between two and ten million Muslims in the country---I don't believe anyone really knows, except the Muslims. And, there being no such persons as "moderate Muslims", means we have Muslims, everywhere. And, all devout Muslims have a Qur'anic "duty" to respond to a call to "Jihad", which means they could cause great damage to our infrastructure, such as cell-phone and other communication towers, power grids, "elevated" highways (and their interchanges), railroads, subways, pipelines, petroleum storage tanks, bridges, airports, etc. That, tied in with their clear statement that they are going to takeover this great country and install their Sharia Law, should be the priority "central planning problem" for of our security planners---that and Russia. If and when hostilities break out, we are going to be forced to establish (over night) civilian volunteer police "auxiliary" units, to guard all of these critical infrastructures. Ask you local sheriffs and police if they have those contingencies covered, especially in rual and smaller areas.
