I am a vet from 50 years ago. Cannot tell you how important MAIL CALL was. Have a granddaughter now at Fort Leonard Wood, Mo. I write every week, without fail.
If you know someone who is doing what we cannot or will not, write them. It makes no difference what you say, it is recognition that hey are away and you are thinking of them. Just do it. Molly tells me of her fellow soldiers who are nearly in tears when they receive a letter and others in the same strait because they did not.
I have suffered from benign essential tremor for some twenty years. This manifests itself as involuntary shaking of my right hand (only), esophageal spasms and also in my peripheral neuropathy.
I began ingesting 200 mgs of magnesium citrate twice a day. In ONE day the hand tremors quit! The spasms quit! My neuropathy has since retreated to the toe area where I first noticed it. After two weeks, I have seen no ill effects; only good.
I am a newbie and posted because I could find no other site I cared to comment in. I am nearly as old as dirt (I know, very trite) but, find most comments to be extremely polite AND helpful. Just want to pass this along.
