Hoodmik, I agree with every statement Dave made because every word is true and provable. Actually some of the results contained in each point are being seen as we speak.

As to "conservatives" identifying with corporations, I see some t***h to that statement, but not for the reasons you think it's true. I am a conservative and I'd like to speak to that point. Corporations are a good part of what makes us a decent and civilized nation. For the little harm they can do, there is an abundance of good that outweighs the bad. Exactly what would we be like if every corporation quit, folded, exited? We NEED corporations and they NEED us, the customers. The left talks as though corporations are the enemy - but the left's politicians are neck deep in bed with the corporations - that's where the money is. Most of the "bad" within corporations can be traced back to politicians who write all the laws, approve all the regulations, take care of money matters of the nation. And those same politicians continue getting elected, re-elected, etc ad nauseum. How can that be? Because they tell their flock it is the corporations' fault,when in fact that is almost always a lie. The flock, wanting to believe the bad guy is the corporation, cling to the liars' words of blame. I support corporations over welfare programs and all the other gimme programs because the corporations make the world go round whereas the gimme programs take decent people and turn them into s***es of the government and all this flim flam slows the world down and eats up dollars that could be used better if we had 1-2 honest and intelligent people in Congress and if we could get rid of the dead wood, like Nancy Pelosi, HarryReid, Dick Durbin, and all the other riff-raff that sits there and brays all day long about NOTHING.

It was a foregone conclusion that once the Democrat Socialists ruled DC, America would bite the dust - expect that very thing within a year or two. It IS coming. Just so you know, let me say that Fox News is superior to all the other alphabets, but I watch none of them, even Fox. Limbaugh, I once listened to him and agree with 95% of his conclusions, but am too busy trying to reach people like you that I no longer have time for him. He doesn't need me - but he has me in his corner if he ever needs me. People who think as you do, NEED someone to break through the lock your politicians have locked down your brains with.

I made simple declarative statements. I will do so again. Tell me which statement you disagree with.
1. In order to have an economic good (health care) it needs to be generated.
2. If more of an economic good is to be made available, more will have to be produced.
3. The affordable health care act creates thousands of IRS agents.
4. IRS agents do not create health care resources.
5. The affordable health care act taxes a health care resource - medical devices.
6. A tax will suppress the supply of the item being taxed, and/or will increase the cost of it to the consumers.
7. Surveys show that doctors are retiring because of items in the affordable healt care act.
8. Doctors are going to accept less Medicare patients because of reduced payments.

The term "useful i***t" was created by one of the heroes of the left to describe those who support the left based on their idiocy. Sorry the term is unfamilar to you, but perhaps you should do a bit of research on it so you can learn what many leaders fo the left really think of many of their supporters.

As to you statement about corporations, you have a very poor understanding of what conservatives think - not the least of which is their opposition to crony capitalism. One little fact for you - one of the main lobbyists to increase food stamp eligibility is Pepsi Cola. Can you guess why?

I obviously know nothing about your financial condition - and frankly find it distasteful for people to look at all federal programs through the prism of what it does for them. There was a time when many people took a far more patriotic approach.

As to the specifics of Obamacare, however, one need not get very deep into understanding the travesty it represents. Common sense would tell one that if they wanted more people to have more shoes, they'd find a way to create more shoemakers Obamacare, in a stated objective of having more people have more and better healthcare creates more IRS agents. As to creating more medical resources, it actually goes the other way - it taxes devices that, at best increases the cost of healthcare and more likely suppresses the supply of medical devices. Meanwhile, there have been many surveys that point out that a signficant number of providers plan on getting out of the practice of medicene.

Now, with that, if you really believe that this program will, on a national basis, either reduce the cost of, or provide an increased supply of, health care services you are officially a useful i***t to the left.

I feel certain that the cost for many will be their lives. I expect many to die before their time because everything is being milked dry ahead of time. I expect disaster beyond anything we have ever known. I expect chaos so severe that medical costs will be one of the least of our problems. People are going to starve, I suspect the weak ones will be abandoned. And I have historically been an optimist. I still am. I've done as much preparing as I can. I'll protect what and who I am able to protect. And being a survivor, I'll survive this because I will not let them get away with destroying all our lives. Obamacare is the answer to nothing for decent people.
