Do you hold to the theory that becoming a victim is somehow morally superior to defending yourself and your family makes perfect sense?? Or are you of the opinion as Ghandi suggested that the European Jews should have all committed suicide rather than let the N**i's treat them like cattle as then there would not be enough manpower to keep up the internments and k*****gs.

In January of 2007, the prime minister of Somalia declared a ban on guns. All firearms were confiscated from the people by Ethiopian troops.
What happened to Somalia after that?? Look it up.

We would already know they're criminals, they would have to check in with someone weekly and explain their actions and when they screwed up - it'd be off to prison, no retirement and no excuses.
Constant scrutiny would make them think twice about trying to screw us over. Should they be dumb enough to try, off they go to do more time. They could be replaced overnight.

I would be willing to try any practical means available in order to help stop our dastardly, fraudulent polical activity.

Absolutely! Our elected officials should always be shown the greatest courtesy and respect---as long as they earn it.

I can see your concern about the American public not understanding the candidates well enough to determine the good from the not so good. However, v****g power is about all we have. The more v****g power the public holds, the better will be our government. Am I wrong?

Our forum depends on replies. Please let's not get all involved with correct grammar to the point where it may interfere with the stating of our thoughts as clearly and as comfortably as we can. Isn't that what need here???

You're right, for sure. Isn it a sad and disturbing commentary that our politicians lie to us?If our government would only change from being SELF-SERVING to being COUNTRY-SERVING, what a wonderful world this would be. Is it too late????

Any illegal involvement of a public office by the office holder would automatically be exposed with a polygraph test. The PGT would be designed with specific questions pertaining to every aspect and activity of the office.

Good point. However, the "WE THE PEOPLE V****G POLICY" requires no approval from anyone. The policy simply states that in order for a candidate to get our v**e for office, they must agree to be in favor of PGT, polygraph testing. Without some measure of t***h we could be v****g for a very wrong government official, handing to them a great deal of power over ever phase of our lives. A very frighting prospect, to say the least, as we all know.

All businesses as well as all government agencies have their "OPERATING POLICIES". How about a "WE THE PEOPLE" v****g policy??
We the people (in order to form a more perfect union), do hereby
Declare that No positive v****g will be done in favor of any politician
Holding or seeking public office who does not agree to the use of
POLYGRAPH TESTING (testing strictly limited to office operational
Concerns) for all holders of public office on a frequent and random
Basis. Testing on a voluntarily basis, of course.
HOLY MOSES!!! LET'S DO IT.

It is no secret that our government representative's decisions are influenced
By lobbyism and by monetary donors--- even alien ones. This system of ours is obviously legal. Nonetheless, we must not abide corrupt representatives, i.e. Thieves, liars, etc. As a republic, it is our duty to know the t***h about our representatives and to react accordingly and appropriately in that regard.

True, at this point and time, polygraph test results are not admissible in a court of law. However, government officials apparently find the test very important in helping them to determine a person's character. Is it wise, then, to dismiss the test as useless???

The issue of concern is the self-serving abuse of power by our elected officials.
