There are NO assault rifles sold in the US! IF you mean semi-automatic rifles that are black and look scary but, still have to have the trigger pulled once for each shot, no, it isn't banning guns! However, if you check, over 90% of the guns sold in the US, including all kinds and brands of rifles, ARE semi-automatic firearms and are seen as guns!! So, if you ban 90% of the guns in the US, in effect, you ARE banning guns!
