Kali,
The criminals will all turn in their guns. It's the law and they wouldn't want to be law-breakers.

When the feds decide to ban assault cars, cars that hold too much dangerous gas, and scary looking cars, I might see the equivalence. Till then, I'll MMOB. Maybe you can MYOB?

WEBCO & Liberty,
I'm not sure who the argument is with either, he/she just outed him/herself. Why would anyone not favor v**er ID except for c***ting?

You nailed it American Vet. I heard the same in the 60s, 70s, 80s,..... The only existential crisis I am concerned with is nuclear war. That's pretty much the end of civilization as we know it. It's 100% politics. The best clean energy available is nuclear energy. Until the "energy experts" in DC figure that out, the only way forward is with coal and oil. Wind and solar are cute, but their place in real energy production is second tier at best.

I heard Buttegieg (sp? don't care) say that the "grid" will need to be upgraded. He has no idea what he is talking about. Upgraded?? Try 100 years. That's roughly what it took to get oil, coal and electrical distribution to where it is today. Try imagining in 10 years those waiting to charge at a hiway fueling stop like Buc-ee's on a holiday weekend. I'll keep my gas-eater until Dear Leader forces me into a government e-car.

Good catch Tex. I'm not sure what makes a hunting site a right wing hunting site, but if there is one, that's where I would go to brag about domestic violence.

While we were waiting on statehood, we enjoyed 3.2 beer legally at 18. I got used to it and drank 3.2 in Kansas till they quit making it.

Archie -- I don't respond to the lefties on this site mostly because all I see is name calling, half-t***hs, uninformed statement of facts, and more name calling. On the other hand, your question deserves a response. Mustard. I've tried them all, even a wet rub after a dry rub. Messy. Feel free to call me a MAGA. I'm fine with that.

Agreed Haski. I made the t***sition to online research only after I was able to navigate the net. I preferred to drive through traffic, search for parking, then to my hard copy work in the university research library, all the while checking on time so that I didn't forget to feed the parking meter. Once I got the hang of working online, I never went back. I'm a retread high school teacher. Retired from a technical profession and trying to get students to think critically and dig deep for answers to questions. Rarely do I find a student who will go beyond a Google search, in part because that is all that is normally expected of them. I look at Google as a can opener. It is a nice place to start exploring, but by no means the end all. I use Google and Wikipedia myself as a way to get started, although I never want to see them show up in a cite. That probably comes from my days in industry where I was looking for real world solutions and not something to impress my professor. I find a lot of free data on .edu and .gov sites and generally will look at articles paying particular attention to the publisher and the funding source. Even then, I still have to evaluate a legitimate article for it's contribution to my research even though it may be at odds with my currently held opinions. I try to be fair to myself, but that doesn't guarantee that I have found all of the answers. I still have difficulty separating the seed from the chaff, and it may be too much to expect from high school students, but for those who can handle it, I am satisfied that I may have helped just a bit. Your comments are appreciated. I generally skim the posts on this site for thoughtful writing, but after I get through the name-calling and superficial rants, there aren't many left. Keep up the good work.

Looking something up on Google is part of the problem. Google posts only what it wants you to see. Google is not research.

Just my opinion, but......there is no chance. The fix has been in since the start All that happens now is tweaking the v**e so it looks close. The senate will not be taken. Biden and company cannot let that happen or the t***h comes out. They will stop at nothing.
Why would all of the pre-e******n data be so wrong? It isn't.
