Guaranteed in the constitution.
Requirement for v**er ID is not in the constitution.
So for the gunnuts and magas who claim gun rights are constitutional, and cannot be changed, then v**er ID, not
in the constitution cannot be mandated nationally, so each state can set their own policy, no matter what magas and
rightwingnut pundits and politicians claim.

Don't know who you're trying to argue with here. No federal law can be forced on states when it comes to v****g.

You are so ignorant.just as laws can be passed governing the purchase of firearms so can laws be passed governing the e******n process to insure fairness.
States establish their own laws about v****g rights, but cannot set limitations on rights specifically granted in the Constitution. Citizenry is mandated by the Constitution. In fact, upon its inception, the Constitution allowed only white males who were over the age of 21 and who were property owners, to v**e. By various Constitutional amendments, the right to v**e was broadened. States may, therefore, require a person to prove citizenship in such manner as the State specifically states, if the intention is constitutional. Therefore, presentation of a photo ID by a government issuing authority is constitutional as enacted by some states, which such laws have not faced a constitutional challenge. If an amendment as adopted with constitutional intent, such as preventing the millions of i*****l i*******ts flooding our country from v****g because these people are not citizens, then that amendment would be constitutional.,

Oh good, I can get a machine gun and a tank. I'll just go to a state that supports the 2nd amendment without limitations. Cool!

As usual Rinaldi, you demonstrate your ignorance of basic English and The Constitution. There is an explicit amendments, #2, that guarantees the right to keep and bear arms. The only mention of a right to v**e, is in #15 that says if A has a right to v**e,so must B.

microphor, you can own machine guns and tanks in Texas. Unfortunately they want the cannon to be non-operational which, I believe, is unconstitutional. Citizens in the 1700's could own cannons, why can't we?

In the state of Tn, in the town where I own a home, a guy has a cannon as a lawn ornament. To what degree it's rendered inoperable, I don't know. I often wonder what would it take to make it operational.

What a bunch of BS!! The Constitution makes it plain the ONLY legal American citizens can v**e and v**er ID is the way to make that happen!! The V**er`s rights bill does away with v**er ID trying to get around what the Constitution plainly states!!

Why would you want a machine gun or a tank? President Biden has already made it clear that he has F 16s as a response to i**********nists. No one has any possibility of defending themselves. Against the government our Second Amendment rights in my opinion are for personal self-defense and hunting. I don’t know of anybody who wants a machine gun or a tank
