Like I have always belived we as a country should not get involved in civil wars. Since this country is based on making money. It makes it easlier for companies to ensure that the government will make a decsion to allow the money to flow into companies coffers.

Have you been out of the country? Those photos you are referring to are used to get your feelings going to get into your wallet. The main cities in africa are in the same state as the cities here they have the poor side and they have the rich side. I have been out of this country and have been in some areas in africa. The country condition is not as bad as those photo's suggest. The areas that need help do need it. Which mostly in the rural areas as with every country there are people who are not in the best condition.

Some one back on this thread said that the mandate for the c***d was forced by the government. What I said was that you need to check with the hospital that required the traveler to get the shot was it government or hospital policy.

Without checking with the hospital referred to how do you know that mandate was a government required decision. Most hospital will do what is required to keep the employees and patients safe. If CDC suggest it normally the hospital will follow because it is common sense. Now if the decsion was made because the hospital will be effected by the reduced funds then yeah the government got involved.

There has always been mandates while working in hospitals, didn't hear much of a complaint with those requirements. Mandates should been written to include if you can prove you had what is mandated against. As far as individual sovereignty shouldn't that be for everything that has been brought up recently.

Couldn't tell if it was intentional or it was used to try and prove a point but the article is a repeat of itself. Most who deal in stocks usually stay away from stocks that are volatile. Unless the only real reason you want is money.

One sided view.
Example two businesses one has increased the pay so they get more workers and service is better compared to the other. One company will close thats right. The other side the company that is still open the workers can go out and spend the extra money because they can go to dinner , a movie and school without having to get help from a loan. Then that person can get a better job. Leaving the present job open for another. Captalism is based on making a profit the business has to ensure that they can mantain a balance of employees , services and payment of the cost for running the business.
If you want to open a business you have to take into account the area. Is your business needed? The area can it support another business like yours?
Example a while back walgreens is a drug store it wanted to have a store on every corner. They did managed it but as soon as the different stores were compared some had to close for various reasons. 1st reason one store service was crap compared to another. 2nd the area was prone to shoplifting because of the average lower pay of the neighborhood. If a neighborhood can't support five businesses then one or several will close. It was not based on the pay it was based the number of customers.

Have to disagree that it is only the government tring to control what infomation is being sent around. The sites maybe using the limited or the one sided view of what is being considered true. But you also have to take into account that the sites are also being ran by humans who also have their own view. The use of algorithm can be controled to a certain extent , since they are written by humans. Example awhile back my wife was going to start a business and she had some intresting names and they were very unique not that they could not have been thought of but 6 out 6 rejected it is questionable. It could be said that the person was rejecting them because they weren't liked.

Not neccassarily if the country has to use H-1B and H-1B1 visas to get people who have the experience and knowledge to help with the infrastructure because there is a shortage of trained and experienced personnel. The green cards are only given when the employer needs the worker and can prove that the specialized knowledge is needed on a permanent basis. Example my father in law has specialized knowledge on a class of plane that was used in the airforce he was a brit. He was given a green card to ensure he was able to leave/return to the country to help keep the planes flying.
