For the last several months I have been thinking that Joe Biden was loosing his mind. At times it is impossible to understand what he is saying.
I thought that surely if this was true someone who cares about him would step up and say something. But nobody did.
Now I realize that he knows that it will take an act of the Almighty for him to win.
Therefore he has joined the penticostals and is actually speaking in tongues. đŸ€«

If you are as old as I am, you either remember these comments from 1955-ish, or just forgot:

"I'll tell you one thing, if things keep going the way they are, it's going to be impossible to buy a week's groceries for $20.00."

"Have you seen the new cars coming out next year? It won't be long before $2,000 will only buy a used one."

"If cigarettes keep going up in price, I'm going to quit. Twenty five cents a pack is ridiculous."

"Did you hear the post office is thinking about charging ten cents just to mail a letter?"

"If they raise the minimum wage to $1 an hour, nobody will be able to hire outside help at the store."

"When I first started driving, who would have thought gas would some day cost 29 cents a gallon? Guess we'd be better off leaving the car in the garage."

"I'm afraid to send my kids to the movies any more. Ever since they let Clark Gable get by with saying 'damn' in 'Gone With The Wind', it seems every new movie has either hell or damn."

"I read the other day where some scientist thinks it's possible to put a man on the moon by the end of the century. They even have some fellows they call astronauts preparing for it down in Texas."

"Did you see where some baseball player just signed a contract for $75,000 a year just to play ball? It wouldn't surprise me if someday they'll be making more than the President."

"I never thought I'd see the day all our kitchen appliances would be electric. They are even making electric typewriters now."

"It's too bad things are so tough nowadays. I see where a few married women are having to work to make ends meet. It won't be long before young couples are going to have to hire someone to watch their kids so they can both work."

"I'm afraid the Volkswagon car is going to open the door to a whole lot of foreign business."

"The drive-in restaurant is convenient in nice weather, but I seriously doubt they will ever catch on."

"There is no sense going on short trips anymore for a weekend, it costs nearly $15.00 a night to stay in a hotel."

"No one can afford to be sick anymore, at $35.00 a day in the hospital, it's too rich for my blood."

"If they think I will pay 50 cents for a haircut...forget it!"

Ring any bells?

I'm really not sure. She was smart enough to get a Bachelors degree, then continued on to get a law degree. Not an easy task, even today. Therefore she has some education. And she was able enough to get elected to Congress. But her opinions are indeed stupid and ill conceived. That's why I am suggesting "AOC" as a new noun. It would also apply readily to the vast majority of college professors, especially the Ivy league ones. I just don't know of any terms that adequately describe an intelligent, educated, successful person that continuously makes i***tic decisions, though the left is overwhelmed with them. Any suggestions?

History cannot be destroyed. As long as someone remembers, or holds documents ( not a book of someone's "perception" of history ) pertaining to history, history remains unchanged. The USA was a s***e owning/trading Nation well into the 19th century, that's a fact and cannot be undone. Trying to erase that history is not only impossible, it's dangerous and could lead to far reaching unintended consequences.

Germany still teaches it's children about Hitler and the evils he inspired, not to glorify any of it, but to ensure that future generations do NOT glorify that period in history, in the hopes that it's not repeated. To this day, there are people trying to rewrite that history, trying to revive the Reich, just as there are those here trying to revive the Confederate State.

We must remember all of our blemishes, acknowledging our mistakes and bad deeds. Not to apologize endlessly for them, or trying to justify them, but to ensure that WE don't repeat any of them.

With more than 100,000 Americans dead and 40 million others out of work as a result of the p******c and the U.S. government’s disastrous handling of it, Donald J. Trump will likely be remembered decades from now as the most incompetent, morally corrupt president in U.S. history. Biden has got a lot of work ahead of him repairing the wreckage Trump has caused to the nation and world.

Via Quora....

If you had to say something positive about Joe Biden, what would you say?

Note that around 40 Trump Trolls wrote non-answers to this question. Quora is under siege by these trolls—and they never bring facts or logic to their ranting. Be sure to report them when their “answers” don’t answer the question, as here, or when they cite lies as facts. Quora doesn’t have enough staff to beat them back. Quora participants need to.

As for this question, I’ll just say one thing: in January he wrote an editorial for USA Today predicting how Trump would bungle the p******c. Everything he predicted came true and then some (and then some because it’s so hard for decent people to imagine how low Trump and his followers will go).

Joe Biden: Trump is worst possible leader to deal with c****av***s outbreak

If you compare per capita death rates attributable to C****-** between America and competently run countries like Germany, South Korea, New Zealand, Australia, Taiwan, and even Greece, Trump has k**led at least 50,000 Americans who most likely wouldn’t have died if Biden had been President.

Trump was able to ride the economy Obama handed him and act like he knows what he’s doing, but this national crisis—world crisis—has shown that he isn’t up to the job when the spit hits the fan. V**e for the guy who knows what he’s doing—and knows how to get help from talented people instead of being prevented from doing so by psychopathic vanity.

Yep that's a part of what's wrong with our nation today...no draft.
In my day we did. Young men not only served our country and often got to see other countries and realize how blessed we ALL are to live in USA. And they learned discipline, respect, responsibility.
I'm 78 and proud of our generation!
