My cell lives on the kitchen table. Only use it when I'm out and about. I'm not in continuous contact with the world, and I like it that way. I do have a fax land line (which I can use when the power is out, since hard wire land lines always have a dial tone). Remotes don't work when the power is out, at least here.
It's all in the definition. My "control" is not her/their "control" because we have different goals. Just like "Peace" doesn't always mean the same thing. And "Unity" doesn't, either.
