It’s really quite simple, here in the states the Republican Party does everything it can to hold down salaries in general for everyone below the top 10%.

They fight any minimum wage increase, which of course is what most of the people you/we come in contact with are paid. I don’t know about Canada, but their is no place a person working full time can live alone on our minimum wage. If they did away with it, those companies that pay the minimum would lower their starting wage. They already don’t give more than 1-2- tops 3% increases.
3% is a whopping $30 per &1k Of earnings. So a person making $30k a year gets a whopping $900 raise for the year. That’s not even $20 a week.

I’m getting ready to do work on my home, work that five years ago I could still do most of it, these days I’m gonna have to pay someone, which means lots of anxiety because I set a higher standard than most people, and their is very little I don’t know how to do the right way.

Arthritis is the least of my medical issues, my medical bills beginning 5/18/14, through today are seriously pushing $500k.
Lower half Bypass, two different resections of the right femoral artery. Two trips for stents(3), they had to put a stent inside a stent.
I was very hard on my body most of my life, and I still kinda think I’m a indestructible;)lol NOT

My attending nurses couldn’t believe how fast I walked minutes after being returned to my room.
The initial surgeon, 3 of 4 in that office have had their hands in me, on my first post op office visit said to me “I am surprised and impressed with how well you and your body tolerated this surgery”. I’ve always healed well.

3 vascular surgeons, my cardiologist, a dentist, physical therapist, podiatrist, and one I can’t remember have all had the “I am the master of my body, and only I am the master of my healthcare, if that’s a problem just say so and I’ll seek another provider” I’m still with all of them.

Today the podiatrist said in response to my saying I’m an a$$hole, no I like to say you’re a sass hole;)

It could be that the sewer line has roots in it. Every three years I have my bath sewer line cabled because of tree roots.

My therapist told me to get myself disabled in 2007 because I dressed down the last six supervisors I had, they were poorly trained managers with no bidness running a bidness!

I fought it out until 2014,(self employed taking care of landlords/investors properties) at which time The Living God of all Creation got me through the journey in ten months.
Disability is generally a two year journey. Nobody qualifies until they are flat broke/bankrupt.

Now I supplement my income as an organic grower of chemical free vegetables, and ornamental perennials.

Oh their is absolutely no, not know, question I’m nuts, no borderline to it. However, stupid, those in the mental health industry will tell you that most Bipolar people have a high intellect, (mine is a tested 135), with very creative thinking. FYI; 135 puts me in the top 10% intellectually. Tested because a therapist that wasn’t up to me was trying to find something to push back at me with. I moved on shortly after the test because that therapist wasn’t hellping me. As opposed to my current therapist that is capable of standing up to when needed.

In fairness to you stupid people, that number is based on how much one remembers, not necessarily the ability to problem solve. Although having been a multi unit restaurant manager who was promoted specifically for these units that were all under simultaneous remodeling while still conducting business. That’s not a position successful business persons put someone not capable of the job to do. Oh yea, since it was a position I was promoted into, I’m certain the/our construction superintendent concurred with the choice of me.
