Thank you Sir! I will dig further and if necessary order on-line.
My favorite Root Beer is "homemade" like we used to make when I was a child but it's increasingly difficult to find the root beer extract and bottle caps for properly making it.

Meet the lovely Mrs. B.
I'm on vacation this week, and she's working part of it. Today, I made dinner, and a pie for dessert.
After dinner, I asked her if she wanted some pie.
She said, and I quote: "Only if you square it, and divide it by three." Huh? Now she's in bed thinking she won....
Any help will be appreciated.
I never was good at math.
What she said was that she wants 1 1/3 piece or a large piece.
Religion or Politics makes no never-mind. We all have the same right to free speech under the first amendment to our Constitution!

I recently got Windows 11 and there are a lot of bugs to it. I'm also thinking of Linux because I'm s**k of Windows and Microsoft. If you do end up getting it, could you PM me and let me know how you like it? I don't know anyone who has it.
Thanks.
EmilyD,
I've been using various versions of Linux for at least 20 years and Ubuntu Linux for 14 years. I personally love it. I can do everything with it that Windows can do and a lot more. Most of the linux releases will provide a live version (Live Desktop) that you can download, burn to a disk or flash drive and boot from it to try it out without affecting your existing operating system.
You can also install most Linux versions along side your windows and choose which one to use on startup. If you do that and decide you don't like Linux you can easily find instructions on the web that give you step-by-step how to remove it.
Linux is no longer the "Geek's" OS, in fact my 7 year old grandson uses Linux Lite on a mini laptop that I gave him after finding him using one of my Linux boxes to play games.
I will recommend that you download a version that you would like to try and put it on a flash drive and play with it enough to get used to the desktop and how it performs.
Linux also runs great on older computers that will no longer handle windows.
Yes he won but he will never be allowed to forget it!

Would you rather work from home,or going to work at. the office?
I enjoyed the 35 years of my career that I spend going to an office every day and developed relationships that I wouldn't have had otherwise. However, as my company t***sitioned from the daily office to the remote office (or work from home) over the next 6 years of my working life, I enjoyed it even more. We were a technology company and offered the remote working technology to anyone who was not a person who was needed in the field to provide service to our customers although their service vehicle became their office.
We were allowed and encouraged to go to our offices and travel when it was appropriate for the business but we were given that freedom of choice.
The final three years of my employment (prior to retirement), my office was a 4 hour drive from my home and while I still "went to the office" it was only for about 3 days out of 2 weeks.
I had all the technology available to me in my home office which included 4 digit dialing to any phone within my company in a two state region. I also had immediate video conferencing with any of my offices within the two state region. At that point in time my work consisted of attending conference calls (audio and video), managing a $500M capital budget and managing the the technical operations that affected some 4.2M customers in 2 states in the Southeastern USA.
I enjoyed very much the ability to perform my critical duties without every leaving my home office unless I found it absolutely necessary to go "on site"!
Original Ekone Smoked Oysters - Taylor Shellfish Farms in Washington State are about the only ones I have found canned and sold in the grocery stores or on line.
I smoke my own when I'm in the mood and they are local to the North Carolina waters.
OMG! Brings back such memories! Memories like the back seat of a '49 Ford with a honey named Dixie Marsh and dances at the Shore Acres Ballroom on the Little Sioux river back in the early to mid 1960's! Love it, thank you so much for the memories.
Guarantee that I will capture this video and the others from the same performance to enjoy again and again!
[I happen to love this! It sounds like something from the mountains in my home state of NC! Thanks for posting!
