I believe that unions were very effective in support of workers when they became prevalent following the depression area. I question their value to the worker now.

Our neighbor who worked at Oldsmobile, General Motors In Lansing,Mi was often out of work for extended periods of time because of the union. He had no choice concerning membership if he chose to remain employed with the company

I do believe that unions have been an asset and a k**ler in many aspects of our work force in the USA.

Choose your weapon.
Pistols (with wax bullets)
Swords (rubber)
Knives (rubber)
Or, beer (by the gallon)

Fisticuffs is out because we're both too old for this s**t.

Perhaps powder puffs at 50 paces!

Jim you are absolutely correct. How can those who have no common sense determine common sense laws relevant to anything.

I had a bunch of 8 track tapes, the machine would eat 'em. Then you just had to throw 'em away.

I gave an 8 track machine to a friend, probably , 15 years ago. we set the machine up and as we fed it, it ate. the tapes all played well until they came to the point where they were glued and that was the end.

I see Liz as a person who has experienced defeat, but thinks she may recover by attempting to destroy those who enabled her fall. Like her father, she must look in a mirror closely to identify her lack of attributes for political success. Being kind, I refer to her as a viper , a dangerous viper.

Mrs. Bunker has one with pink camo. Looks kinda girly to me, and not so scary.

Kemmer, being a homo, and all would really appreciate her Henry 30.30 lever action rifle. It is a piece of art.
Funny thing is, is that the cartridge it shoots is twice the size of the pink one's cartridges.
A little less velocity, but, a lot more thump.

I reckon ole Kemmer really doesn't understand these things.

Should the advisory have thick and bushy hair the Henry 30-30 round is known to negotiate heavy foliage well for an effective k**l.
One should not question the use of nor the capability of a weapon caliber they have not researched.

Tom, I have great respect for you , and many others who post here because of the characteristic values that are always associated with yours and their communication. I am 81 and can no longer bust ass, however I have a friend that accompanies me , in my travels, that insures I need not fear those who would like to do harm to me or others where I may be sheltered.

Beacon is often on the plate. I served just over 30 years , and can relate favorably to times of stress . The relief once came in a 5 pound can of spam with c*****rs. We were in a very unfriendly area and a representative of the 4th Infantry reluctantly provided the Spam support at the expense of those he was responsible to feed. I have loved those Dining Facility Managers ever since.

Hi AuntiE, and Happy Valentine day. I've been coping with the winter blues and just getting over the "crud" on the downhill side now. We moved to a different place in November and have a lot of stuff to do to get this place personalized. I think Spring is about to spring upon us. My daughter in Oregon said the daffodils are starting to bloom.

Peaver, a belated birthday wish to you I convey. No doubt your reliable, and trusted friend, the Harley moved with you.

Keep in mind I am in a 78 year old abode. Our circuit breaker is at least 38 years old. I have a major issue with having to expend large sums on an electrician because DoE promulgated ridiculous regulations.

Auntie, I am not a licensed electrician , but the age of your circuit breaker or the lamp receptacle should not be an issue under normal conditions. Circuit breakers can become weak over time , and bulb receptacles can have corrosion develop that may task a circuit when the bulb is installed an the switch is activated. If you have a friend who is willing to employ his /her volt meter, turn the power off clean receptacles, turn the breaker on to include voltage output to desired receptacles the voltage should read 12o, should it read 110, withing lighting you are acceptable.

Auntie, My wife and I are functioning effectively with wiring, receptacles for wall, and light with no issue. Our place is wired for four hundred amp service in 1989. However, Please insure the Amp service rating that you have is sufficient to provide your needs

Tom what do you consider the American dream to be? I have read many of your articles, which I respect , but do not completely agree with all.
I know that the dreams of many are in their heads and not in their efforts. I have never considered myself to be an important person. I grew up on a small farm in western Ky where we ate like kings, worked very hard daily, but spending money was sparse. In 1959, at age 16 , I obtained my fathers signature, which was illegal at the time, to join the Army. I entered as a high school dropout and departed in 1989 with a college degree . I functioned in many positions, the last being responsible for New Equipment Training for fielding for the UH-60 Helicopter and all associated systems to include the flight simulator to all US recipients. I also fielded the AH-64 flight simulator to Germany. All locations to which aircraft and supporting systems were scheduled to go, I coordinated and insured that all training requirements were met to insure that the receiving unit was adequately prepared to employ the aircraft and additional equipment in what ever scenario was necessary. The Department of Army fielding schedule dictated where, when, and how we tied the knot for a successful fielding. WE had no failures. I attained my American dream. I must admit that when I embarked upon my military career, I never dreamed that it would be so rewarding and enjoyable.

Sail375,I believe that you have well identified the issues that are destroying this country. I also believe that we have a sufficient number of members in each political party, that as you indicate, have the destruction of the sovereignty of America in their plans and their visions of accomplishing this feat is the Marxist agenda. I see the Biden C*******t group as they are. No leadership, bend the knee to the enemy, and throw the country under the bus. I believe the time is rapidly approaching when American citizens will defend their families and property with weapons. I also see the tremendous influx of i******s the Democrat C*******t have sanctioned into this country to be a primary tool to enable a successful mission of destruction.
