Or, my great grandfather? My grandfather? My father?
Let's say that I did some sketchy stuff when I was young, and have turned around, and am now an honest, upstanding, hard working,
taxpaying family man. Is my past still to be held against me?

Somewhere I read the sins of the fathers until the seventh generation. That aside, those on the government teat will never give it up no matter how many generation pass.

Every man is accountable for their own actions.
God can do anything.
I spent 8 years in prison for crimes of illegal drug trafficking.
I'm currently employed as a Bailiff/Tipstaff in the country courthouse, and I serve a song leader in a local Bible church.
That should answer your question.

I am not responsible for r********ns. Period. My ancestors came to America after those times. And since those times there have been countless examples of giving favoritism to those whose ancestors were victims of those bad times. And many who weren't and still had those advantages offered to them. Those people are all responsible for not making the maximum of those extra advantages offered to them and their ancestors. Just as those that might have had more favorable advantages offered to them because of their ancestry, were responsible for how they used them. It balances over time and if you or your ancestors did not take advantage to what was available to them, it is there faults, and your hard luck, and not my responsibility. Now act like an adult, stand on your own two feet, and make the best of yourself on your own. There is no such rational thing as equity and DEI is better spelled DIE as it will cause a free society where the best can achieve their best, to DIE.

Ah, the challenge......I used the word sketchy, didn't I?
Now, we get down to how to define sketchy.

When Mrs. B., and I first married, she thought it was sketchy to feed week old leftovers from the fridge to the dog due to bacteria.
Mind you, this was the same dog who absolutely loved to eat the trimmings from horses hooves, and was recently seen chewing on the jerkified carcass of a flat rabbit she found on the road. But, refrigerated leftovers are sketchy.

I need a better word.
