If you follow Trump's appointees and tweets, it is hard not to see that he is purposefully destroying America. Or is massively stupid. Just those two choices.
The Donald was raging and apologetic on Twitter at 3am today about how "Lefty saboteurs" undermined his big nod to his BFF, Putin, and profusely offering his abject amends to the Russian president over this contrived mishap. Leaked WH sources says the president was "nearly suicidal" over this betrayal and embarrassment. When a staff member was courageous enough to point out that these campaign hats had been in circulation for over a year, Trump cuffed the aide on the ear and screamed, "Where is your loyalty? Why didn't you tell me?"
Hard to have a conversation. Please follow all threads and see how the Right is disproportionately suppressing and attacking the Left.

As Moses was the one who led them out of Egypt, the New Covenant is to be different than Mosaic Law, according to Jeremiah. Reject all of Paul's comments on the New Covenant's form and intent, we are still left with the words of this ancient and approved prophet: "...I will make a new covenant..." What would be its nature?
Jesus said, "Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them." Fulfill how? By perfectly living the Law, which the Jews never did. Jesus fulfilled the contract, covenant, between God and his Chosen People. That deal was over, completed, like previous covenants in the Bible, such as the Adamic and Abrahimic. Effort and intent from the Mosaic Law was replaced by spirit and grace. To resist evil was now a sin in itself. The New Covenant is surrender, not resistance.

Good points. And the Jews were very reluctant to carry out capital punishment throughout their history, even in ancient times. Two witnesses were required of a capital offense and even then it was not a sure thing. The Third Century inclusion into Scripture about the stoning of a adulteress, a great story with the oft quoted "When they kept on questioning him, he straightened up and said to them, "Let any one of you who is without sin be the first to throw a stone at her," (Jn8:7) misjudges the Jews at that time.
