If you follow Trump's appointees and tweets, it is hard not to see that he is purposefully destroying America. Or is massively stupid. Just those two choices.
I don't think Trump is deliberately trying to destroy America, I think he literally doesn't know any better. Having been indoctrinated from childhood to distrust the Government, the establishment, law and order and the financial institutions, he was already programmed to seek revenge against them, blaming them for his Fathers mental illness. Trump has repeatedly shafted his business partners, reneged on "deals" made with cities to get projects approved, refused to repay loans ( in fact, he sued a bank after 9/11 claiming he didn't have to repay the loan as the terrorist attack was " an act of God", he lost and filed bankruptcy ), and c***ted on his taxes............for 50 years or more.
Trump himself, in one of his books, described his selling technique as using "t***hful hyperbole", which means - large lies anchored by a little bit of t***h. This is typical conman behavior, but be that as it may........Donald Trump didn't suddenly become a different person when he decided to run for President...again. Why on earth would anyone think that he, all of a sudden, became a t***hful, honest guy.....when he's made a 50 year career crowing about all the people and institutions he's f&cked along the way?
Trump isn't intentionally harming America, he just does not have the capacity to understand the consequences of his behavior.......because he's never had to endure any. Sure, he's lost more law suits than he's won, but then, he's failed more often than he's been successful in business, but always found someone to help him pin the blame on someone else, or get someone else to pay for his mistakes........including the American taxpayer.
I believe Trump suffers from the same malady his father did - schizo affective disorder, he just doesn't know any better and cannot help himself. The true villains here, are the evil people surrounding Trump, who are taking advantage of his mental illness for their own purposes.
