Yesterday my wife and I were driving from our country home 35 miles to town enjoying the views two mountain ranges of 11,000 and 12,000 foot high peaks. Sundog clouds (indicating a change in weather) were piling over the 12,000 foot high Ruby Mountains (the Alps of Nevada). Almost like the clouds were put there by an alien from space, now for the really SCARY part, the first person they meet to represent the Human race is slow Joe Biden. Even Keven nd Bad Bos and the libs should be worried.

That was sarcasm. I spent eight years in the U.S.C.G. on four different ships all powered by steam or diesel generators supplying current to electric drive motors driving the propellers. On the last two cutters (ships) I was a duty engineer legally responsible for the engineering plant. On the first ship (an ex-Navy Ocean-going tug boat able to tow any Navy ship in service at that time). As far as I know I was the first E-5 in the Navy or the Coast Guard person to be elevated to that position, shortly thereafter I was promoted to E-6. I know a little bit about ships and boats at sea. My handle is to honor an early pioneer in Calf, Nevada and Arizona. Though not a relative I have a rifle that he bought in 1881 in central Arizona.
