The Mickey Mouse Club and the Anti-Mesa Society also have given glowing endorsements. He is a shoe-in, perhaps not for president but definitely for the Black Clown Award established the previous p**********l e******n.

All belief in the supernatural is based on irrationalism so truth is literally relative. What do you want truth to be and that is it. In such a world truth is based on affirmation not confirmation so the more people who support a position then the more likely it is to be true. Excellent points. Thank you.

It is difficult to get the right words to say how truly rotten and despicable these people were. They worked for pagan Rome to oppress their brothers and sisters in Judaism by crippling and often corrupt taxes that were literally strangling Jerusalem. More hated than the Samaritans by a hair or less--that Jesus portrayed as an exemplar of the Second Great Commandment, or how we obtain the kingdom: love of neighbor. And this group called the Samaritans were notorious for all sorts of abominations. What was he thinking?
In Matthew9:13, Conservative Evangelicals strongly object to Jesus dining with a tax collector, accusing him of endorsing their behavior by his mere presence at a meal. Jesus answered, "I have not come to call the righteous but sinners." He was stating his mission and mocking the hypocrisy of those questioning him. The pillars of society, content with themselves and their positions, could not hear him; they already had their reward. Jesus took his place among prostitutes and thieves and murderers. Would he miss a gay wedding to undermine his position? Who would he be kinder to, the florist, baker, or photographer that refused an opportunity to spread the kingdom of God to sinners and show true love of neighbor or the gay couple, lost in their possible sin? When we condemn and distance ourselves from the people Jesus found comfortable to walk, eat, and chat with on a daily basis, are we following in his footsteps?

Wow. Pretty simple Biblically. Of course Jesus would have attended a Gay Marriage.

It is the claim of modern Zen Buddhist teachers, according to the above lesson, that
Jesus said, because of our Christian faith, He is with us every moment, every hour, and every day, throughout life.
and He said, It is fitting that we do the works of Him who has sent me while it is day; the night is coming in which a man cannot work. John 9:4
"Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of time." Matthew 28:19-20
This leaves us with no reason to either brood or to feel despair.

Comparing everything to what you think you know and your pat theology does not honor truth.

The quoted passage has nothing whatsoever to do with Buddhism, as you claim. It is from Saint Teresa, a Christian mystic,
Each moment is the best and holiest thing that could happen to us, no matter the duty, sacrifice, temptation , or trial we may face. God, grace, and faith are found only in the moment. And also truth.
"If I did not simply live one moment to the next, it would be impossible for me to keep my patience. I can see only the present, I forget the past and take good care not to think about the future. We get discouraged and feel despair because we brood about the past and the future. It is such folly to spend one's time fretting, instead of resting quietly, without effort, on the heart of Jesus.

You call this an argument? What do you provide that supports this argument? NOTHING! You have provided an EXTREMELY weak argument. In fact you haven't presented an argument at all.
Until you post something to me that makes some semblance of coherence I don't even want to talk or discuss things with you. It's a waste of my time.
If you care not to follow arguments that seriously challenge and I feel defeat your impoverished and highly questionable stance to begin with because they are "cut and paste" as Fiat presented, how can you accept any Bible, which is essentially cut and paste? Answer the challenges she presented in the cut and paste or admit you need some time to re-think.
Both sides miss the mark, both sides fall far short of the Kingdom of God, both sides are worldly and thus are at enmity with the father. The way of Christ is not the way of politics. Politics always means connivance, compromise, and lies to achieve its vain ends.
