One, Cuba has some of the best healthcare in the world, so you conservatives should probably be careful using that against us. Two, people aren't immigrating to Canada because not only would they not be allowed to access free healthcare (not Canadian citizens), but it's stupid to move to a whole new country and leave your friends and family behind if you can just change things for the better in your own country.

This majority of liberals is very clear. The democrats have the presidency and the Senate, and continue to gain ground in the House. The liberal viewpoint gains ground every single day, and if you talk to the random person on the street you will find an overwhelming amount of them agree with Democratic policy. The Republican party is a great propaganda machine, but finally intelligence is starting to pull ahead.

Even if they were, there are plenty of good reasons why they might have been, starting with the fact that you can't just randomly send marines in every time Americans, even important Americans, are in trouble. We can't just invade a sovereign country and k**l their civilians. Another reason would be that sending troops in could cause unnecessarily high casualties for our own troops.
