Do You Read?

1. The Wall Street Journal is read by the people who run the country.

2. The Washington Post is read by people who think they run the country.

3. The New York Times is read by people who think they should run the country, and who are very good at crossword puzzles.

4. USA Today is read by people who think they ought to run the country but don't really understand The New York Times.

5. The Los Angeles Times is read by people who wouldn't mind running the country, if they could find the time and if they didn't have to leave Southern California to do it.

6. The Boston Globe is read by people whose parents used to run the country.

7. The New York Daily News is read by people who aren't too sure who's running the country and don't really care as long as they can get a seat on the train.

8. The New York Post is read by people who don't care who is running the country as long as they do something really scandalous, preferably while intoxicated.

9. The Chicago Tribune is read by people who are in prison, who used to run the state, & would like to do so again, as would their constituents who are currently free on bail.

10. The Miami Herald is read by people who are running another country, but need the baseball scores.

11. The San Francisco Chronicle is read by people who aren't sure if there is a country or that anyone is running it; but if so, they oppose all that they stand for. There are occasional exceptions if the leaders are gay, handicapped, minority, feminist, atheists, and those who also happen to be i*****l a***ns from any other country or galaxy, provided of course, that they are not Republicans.

12. The National Enquirer is read by people trapped in line at the grocery store.

13. The Seattle Times is read by people who have recently caught a fish and need something to wrap it in.

The t***h about the open the economy protests going on around the country is that they are by no means grass root, the pathetic little hissyfits of cosplaytr**ts are funded and marketed to the morons who show up by the usual players. That’s right folks DeVoss and Koch money fueled the social media ads that twisted the panties of the despicables into a bunch. The other lie of the movement is that it is about freedom, it isn’t any more than demanding the right to drive drunk is about freedom. Violating public health directives puts others lives at risk. It is an inconvenance to not drive home from the bar after an evening out, a cab is expensive it isn’t that far home, traffic is light and if you close one eye and keep the windows down you won’t see double and the cool air will keep you awake. Most of the time this sort of thinking gets the guy home without a hitch, but it puts the rest of us at a significantly greater risk so it is against the law. The people who refuse to wear masks or social distance to protect their neighbors are generally the same knuckleheads who won’t wear seatbelts, motorcycle helmets or goggles when using power tools. In less kind times they were known by nicknames like stubby, cyclops stumps and lefty. Stupid indeed but sadly in this matter rather than simply assuming personal risk they are forcing the risk on their family friends neighbors and strangers. Think of them not as a stubborn fool who won’t wear a seatbelt but as that same fool doing so while driving through traffic blind drunk just when school lets out.

Congressional Freeze of Benefits

So many members of Congress are retiring in hopes of “locking-in” their future retirement payments. Currently, their monthly retirement checks are equal to their monthly salaries.

They hope to freeze their retirement as it stands. I'm with Trump on this one.



Trump is asking everyone to forward this Email to a minimum of 20 people and to ask each one of them to do likewise. This makes too much sense not to be passed on. In 3 days, most people in the United States will have the message. This is why the idea should be passed around, regardless of Political Party.



The Trump Rule’s Congressional Reform Act:



1– No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman / Woman, collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office. No more perks go with them.



2– Congressman / Woman (past, present & future) participate in Social Security.

All funds in the Congressional Retirement Fund move to the Social Security System immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security System, and Congress participates with the American People. It may not be used for any other purposes.



3– Congress must purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.



4– Congress will no longer v**e themselves pay increases. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%



5– Congress’s current Healthcare System is terminated, and they participate in the same Healthcare System as the American people.



6– Congress must abide by all the laws they impose on the American people



7– All contracts with past and present Congressman / Woman are void.

The American people did not make these contracts with Congressmen / Women.



The Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators serving their terms, then

going home and back to work, and not get all kinds of freebies!



No wonder THEY’RE FIGHTING THIS TOOTH AND NAIL!

PPPPPPPPPPPPlosi in her bill before congress has a trillion $ in payments to sanctuary states like California and NY, just to name a few. California spends $30.3 billion annually on i*****l i*******ts. PPPPPlosi wants US taxpayers to cover that expense. Democraps have mandated the closure of businesses. Collateral damage to the states and the nation as a whole is that tax revenue is falling far short of what is needed. It's time for states to stop the billions of give a ways to i*****l a***ns and balance their budgets according to the revenue they collect, even if it means laying off policemen and fireman and all city bosses and everyone in between. it's time. Murder at Safeway

Tired of being broke and stuck in an unhappy marriage, a young husband decides to solve both problems by taking out a large insurance policy on his wife, with himself as beneficiary, and arranging to have her k**led.

A "friend of a friend" put him in touch with a nefarious underworld figure that went by the name of "Artie." Artie explained to the husband that his going price for snuffing out a spouse was $5,000.

The husband said he was willing to pay that amount but he wouldn't have any cash on hand until he could collect his wife's insurance money. Artie insisted on being paid something up front. The man opened up his wallet, displaying a single dollar bill that rested inside.

Artie sighed, rolled his eyes, and reluctantly agreed to accept the dollar as down payment for the dirty deed.

A few days later, Artie followed the man's wife into the local Safeway grocery store. There he surprised her in the produce department and proceeded to strangle her with his gloved hands. As the poor unsuspecting woman drew her last breath and slumped to the floor, the manager of the produce department stumbled onto the scene.

Unwilling to leave any witnesses behind, Artie had no choice but to strangle the produce manager as well. Unknown to Artie, the entire proceedings was captured by hidden cameras and observed by the store's security guard, who immediately called the police.

Artie was caught and arrested before he could leave the store.

Under intense questioning at the police station, Artie revealed the sordid plan, including his financial arrangements with the hapless husband. And that is why the next day in the newspaper, the headlines declared:
