I am forced to pay for Medicare whether I use it or not thanks to LBJ. I was forced on Medicare so yes it is a socialized healthcare system. Let me say this, I was more happy with my private health insurance, but could not afford both.

Just don't confuse healthcare with health insurance, before I had health insurance to help pay for my healthcare. Now I have Mdedicare which is not healthcare insurance and it covers only what they it want to cover. And I believe they will soon start to ration services to cut expenses, then we will see those over 75 not get treatment for long term life threatening diseases.

FDR's New Deal deemed Constitutional by an FDR l*****t packed Supreme Court. That's what started the entitlement programs that are bankrupting the nation, now. I don't remember if any of LBJ's Great Society or War on Poverty programs came before the courts or not, but they added to the slow decline of our nation.
