Warning this could cause you to lose any confidence in our government you may have left.

This is really good. Read the article and then go to the home page and book mark the site. A lot of thought provoking thoughts and questions, which will make you rethink the whole premise of what our government is and why it's that way. I believe if our Constitution is followed to the letter when we are forced to start over we can achieve what we thought we've had when the Constitution was ratified. Corrupt lawyers, judges, politicians, financiers and so on, never allowed us the country we thought we had.

This isn't news, nor is the fact that it just gets worse year by year. Some of us were aware, but were unable to get anybody else to wake up to it.

Those who own the Government, are very careful to keep the illusion of a democratic republic alive. This keeps them in power and allows them free reign to modify our society, as their needs change. The list of distractions is rather large, so they'll never run out of tools to keep the masses pacified and ignorant.

Ever noticed that the "news" usually starts out with a "breaking overnight!" synopsis of weather? As though there have never been snow storms in the winter, flooding and tornadoes in the spring and summer? Complete drivel and unnecessary information to those experiencing these weather phenomena.

Democrats and Republicans manufacture "crisis", almost on a daily basis, just to keep us occupied, while the owners go about the business of molding our society to suit them. The media outlets are owned by the same people who own the Government, so it isn't a surprise that these are part of the tool package.

What would be news, is when everybody woke up and went "hey!, what the hell is this?!" - and started the American revolution pt. 2.

There is ONE answer: Do not sanction "government". Americans should try living without a handful of greedy i***ts dictating to the millions of Americans, and we have seen they do not have the intelligence nor the motive to lead in any fashion that could be called good. Our nation has been overtaken (government o*******wn) by our enemies (the sociopaths in government). They are biting away at the Constitution, just as the UN wants them to do. They are selling our nation to feather their own nests, and that gives them a "high" that is habit forming, AND IT WILL NOT CHANGE BACK TO THE COUNTRY WE WERE BROUGHT UP IN AND TO WHICH MOST OF US OWE ALLEGIANCE.

I maintain the current government is not a government at all, but a cabal of greedy psychopaths determined to be dictators. If such is not the case, then they should try harder to NOT appear to be greedy psychopaths. They should try honestly leading the nation, NOT dictating to it, NOT demeaning it at every turn. Once they have totally destroyed this nation, I suggest we never try this experiment again. The left will want to re-do the failure. The rest of us should not allow this to happen.

What we need to be doing is eradicating government......when it finally admits it has been a miserable failure, we should seriously discuss peaceful anarchy which would be something new. We would have to learn to live without a handful of sociopaths telling us what, when, how to live. We would have to make the decisions re what money is spent and accounted for. Some in America will tell you they could not do that....they are the ones who have always been dependent on others to maintain their lives. Peaceful anarchy is THE ONLY WAY I SEE AMERICA BECOMING INDEPENDENT AND STRONG AGAIN. It isn't necessarily chaos as today's dictionaries assert. Anarchy merely means "no ruler". Do not react with your gut, but with your brain. Think about it. Imagine what it would be like to live without income taxes, without millions of regulations, without threats of jail time for minor incidents, without having to have others' approval for each and everything you do.

The free-market, "in the whole volume of human nature," [Alexander Hamilton, 1775, "The Farmer Refuted"], in America [and other Western civilizations] is the latest and greatest of 21st century engineering, technology and sophistication that our world has ever seen; and must slowly eradicate ANY hostile, archaic or un-competitive civilizations who have invaded America; and who still feel that "might makes right;" but still pilfer what they can.

With the proper conservative leadership, America, even with the recent influx of liberal progressive, anti-American, non-assimilating cultures, can over-ride ALL the intertwined, embedded "blame America first" ideologies and hurtful new "rules and regulations," designed to "bring America to (her) knees," over a long weekend. Of course, one of the world's leading Economist, Art Laffer, in referring to the "long weekend" scenario, was only taking into consideration the actual "regulations;" not the purposeful damage the liberal progressive "rules" have already put out of conservative business' in America.

The "Cash For Clunkers" idiocy will be re-lived every time an antique auto collector is trying to find parts to re-build a classic American auto; to say nothing of the family auto dealerships who were put out-of-business for making political donations to the Republican Party.

What h**e and misinformation do you refer? Our country is the best in the world and you are tearing it apart with you mindless and baseless h**e. I believe you to be the one who disseminates "mindless and baseless h**e." I just like to either write my own topics (which I haven't done for a while) or paste good topics I come across that I mostly agree with. I also respond to others comments and or Marxist/democrat ideologies I don't like. So what's your problem?

Perhaps, but with most things in life, somewhere in the middle would serve best. Humans are creatures of extremes, they're "all in" or "all out" and have trouble finding and being comfortable in between the extremes.

It certainly wouldn't serve the "us against them" political narrative though. How could they convince the handful of people who v**e, to v**e overwhelmingly for THEIR party, if they didn't fill folks heads full of doo doo - that was the polar opposite of the OTHER party?

Throughout our more recent history, we have wondered from one party to another, one set of stupid decisions to another set of stupid decisions, each time blaming the OTHER side for all the stupid decisions - and seem bent on riding this roller coaster to destruction.

The hard, sad fact is - no single party, no single political philosophy - can get us OFF that roller coaster. It will take enough people deciding it's time for a REAL change - abandoning both democratic and republican party's - going non partisan and centrists 100% - where the Constitution and the Bill of rights trump everything and everybody.

We seem to know how the "others" could change so things would be at the correct extreme, but their hasn't been much self reflection about how our group (the good people who are right) could change to make things better.

A fine utopian dream. Ultimate freedom, except that no man or country is an island unto itself. We need to depend on others for what we cannot make for ourselves. Some level of civilization is necessary for us to have a free and prosperous existence. Finding that limit and sticking to it is the answer.
