Yeah, I think he just likes any opportunity to use his silly nickname for his President.

Lie. A former military member interviewed by media stated he had his gun on him but realized how many children were in the area and decided making sure they got to safety took precedence.

Lie/wrong. The assault weapons ban had zero effect overall, let alone on mass shootings. Fact of the matter, homicides slightly increased in that ten year period.

Once again time for those useless thoughts and prayers.

I decided to postpone the next essay so that OPP members may absorb the facts of the cases involving the mass shootings in Texas and Ohio. The next essay will be posted tonight around 10pm.

Our thoughts and prayers to the victims of each tragedy.

You are wrong. The Presidency of the United States is a Federal Office. Any rule change affecting a candidate's chances of winning that office is not the province of any state or local authority. Only changes at the Federal Levels are lawful.

I agree. I was speaking more to the claims in articles that, this law changes the wording of the constitution, it doesn’t. The issue I battled with was, in the law, Newsom also requires that this same law applies to governorships. The law needs to be rewritten to omit the federal requirement. And I don’t like the requirement at the state level either.

Good lookin’ out, Son. Thanks

The fat lady has not yet sung. As the Hill article states, the IG cited a violation of the classified information protection laws.

The concerns stem from the fact that one memo that Comey leaked to a friend specifically to be published by the media — as he admitted in congressional testimony — contained information classified at the lowest level of “confidential,” and that classification was made by the FBI after Comey had t***smitted the information, the sources said.

Although a technical violation, the DOJ did not want to “make its first case against the Russia investigators with such thin margins and look petty and vindictive,” a source told me, explaining the DOJ’s rationale.

But Comey and others inside the FBI and the DOJ during his tenure still face legal jeopardy in ongoing probes by the IG and Barr-appointed special prosecutor John Durham. Those investigations are focused on the origins of the Russia investigation that included a Foreign Intelligence Surveillance Act (FISA) warrant targeting the Trump campaign at the end of the 2016 e******n.

The leak violation is small change, PR, the origins of the Russia investigation is the heart of the matter, that's where the critical mass is located. BOOM!
The fat lady has not yet sung. As the Hill article... (show quote)

It’s looking pretty scary for this group when violation of the espionage act is viewed as small change.

I agree. And I would love to see those things as well. But I was trying to keep things in the realm of constitutional requirements. You can’t overwhelm Yoda, ummm I mean Jedi with too much at once, his head will explode.

Excellent article. Very informative and clearly stated. Thank you. But I would not include the highly discredited David Barton. "Barton, should you be unaware, is the widely discredited “historian” whose book was withdrawn by his own Christian publisher over its false claims. Barton’s history of bats**t claims is very, very long but he may be best known here for his comparison of L**T rights to N**ism." Thank you. And no, I wasn’t aware of Barton’s position on the second amendment. Not sure what it has to do with the quote used in the article above though. What I don’t get is why you would use an extremely left wing bias source like “Right wing watch” to discredit an unrelated quote. At any rate, in his quote above, he is historically accurate, so, there’s that...

Funny thing about his position on the second amendment.... George Washington himself held the exact same belief, I think you could find his quote in his farewell address.

Hospital again? Or still? Either way, hope you’re doing ok.

I find it interesting that whenever most republicans are confronted with reality they immediately deflect to fantasy.

What fantasy? Maybe a more poignant question is, what reality?

Once again...and read this v-e-r-y s-l-o-w-l-y....there is no attempt at a "gotcha moment" - if Trump (like he claims) has nothing to hide, he would produce those tax returns, as he promised. People on this site demand "proof" of your comments nearly every day -and we're just throwing around opinions. Why shouldn't the people of America know if their president is a crook or not?

They absolutely should. It’s called a vetting process. This is to be done BEFORE, a nominee is elected, not during the three years of his first term.
Quote:
Trump had no problems demanding that Obama produce his birth certificate...and strangely, I don't remember you leading the charge to tell Trump to go to hell with his demands....I guess I missed that.

Read this s-l-o-w-l-y.... being a natural born citizen IS ACTUALLY A REQUIREMENT FOR THE PRESIDENCY. Tax returns are NOT. So yes, I wholeheartedly supported his request for a birth certificate. Funny thing is, Obama didn’t produce one until three years into his first term. Hardly bothered you I’m sure. I mean, why bother with actual constitutional requirements when a liberal progressive is concerned, right?
Quote:
Now, as far as "accomplishing something" - let's see: Your (f**e) president promised that he had a brand new healthcare plan ready to go on Day One that would service all Americans and take care of pre-existing conditions....its been over 2 years and America is still waiting...then to have the audacity to repeatedly try to k**l the ACA with nothing,

Don’t worry, once the republicans reclaim the House in 2020, this will be accomplished by your very real president in his second term.
Quote:
and I mean absolutely nothing to replace it should be a criminal act.

Lol, except outside of liberal progressive fantasy land, it’s not. But your double standards are noted.
Quote:
Was the republican plan really to throw millions and millions of Americans into the "uninsured" column simply to k**l something Obama started? pathetic!

Before the ACA, were these people not being treated because they didn’t have insurance? Of course they were. What’s pathetic is your hyperbole. What’s also pathetic is fining people for not having insurance, but your very real president took care of that.
Quote:
Your (f**e) president also said he had a plan to defeat ISIS in 30 days.....well, its been 2 years and ISIS is still alive, well, and blowing stuff up....could Trump have meant 30 years instead of 30 days?

Seems awfully strange that ISIS isn’t in the news every day for blowing up something, mostly real people, in the last two years like they were when Obama was pretending to stop them. In fact, they expanded their controlled territory exponentially when Obama was pretending to be a president.
Quote:
Your (f**e) president also lied repeatedly and said "Mexico will pay for the wall" - and now he uses his kangaroo SC to dump on the Constitution to steal money ear marked for the military because he knew (just like we knew) that Mexico was never going to pay for his wall.

This hardly deserves a response. The military, and your very real president’s main responsibility is to protect U.S. citizens. Using military funding to accomplish this by securing the southern border is completely within his power, and his duty. Did your very real, and actual president ever say exactly how Mexico would pay for the wall?
Quote:
Do I need to mention Stormy, Patty McDougal, or the other 20-something sex claims your (f**e) president is surrounded by

Ahhh claims... you must be referring to the unsubstantiated ones, why aren’t we hearing about these in the attack Trump mainstream media anymore? And Stormy... hahaha... assuming her claim was actually true (it wasn’t, see the court case) she’s the only prostitute I’ve ever heard of that actually had to pay her “John” afterward.
Quote:
or China, NK, Russia, or Saudi Arabia.....? I would actually be surprised if you could even tell me "why" you support Trump....I would really be interested to hear it straight from the horse's mouth.

You can mention anything you like, in fact, I encourage you, you’re hilarious. Why do I support Trump... well, to be perfectly honest, I didn’t support him until he became the party’s nominee, by that point, and let’s be serious here, there was no alternative. And I didn’t support him in earnest until I realized how absolutely mad, I mean bats**t crazy, he makes you liberal progressives. For that alone he’ll get my support and v**e in 2020. And that’s all the reason I need.
Quote:
You say "you guys" as if you know me or something -hahaha - very funny!

After that rant of yours, you’re really going to try and say that you’re not a member of “you guys” - hysterical!!!

I find it amusing how you think this is Constitutional, especially when your Democrats resisted all efforts to make sure ineligible people do not v**e. Anyway, you lose on two points. First I am quite sure the courts will throw this whole law out, but even if in the extremely minuscule chance that I am possibly perhaps maybe mistaken, in the practical universe of things it matters not a wit.

There is no way Trump was going to win California anyway. I also believe that you need to be careful what you wish for. Democrats have tried shenanigans before and had them blow up in their faces. If this little farce were to work, in the future Republicans might do it to a Democrat in a swing state and win an e******n.
