Let do a review here. My route from home to Greensboro takes me past innumerable Sheetz. They have the cleanest restrooms I have ever seen. They have a massive se******n of food and beverages. Their MTO food is better than any fast-food you will find, though it is pretty fast. I have never encountered a single rude cashier!

Basically it is a six star. If you are traveling, they are a good choice for stopping!

I agree…I look for Sheetz whenever we’re on a trip and need gas. And like you said, no matter where you are in the eastern part of the country, they are by far the cleanest. And their food and coffee is always fresh.

EmilyD, if you purchase it legally at a pharmacy, you won't get anything but pure pot. No f******l.

If you want to trust the government to sell you what THEY want you to buy and put in your body, good luck…Big Pharma is waiting for people like you.

There are many, many things that can make you addicted…and big Pharma knows what they are.

18-20% in tax money is very attractive to the government…

I am not against pot. I have a good friend who has serious injuries sustained over a lifetime of physical jobs. He suffers from constant intense pain. His choices are opioids or pot. He prefers pot. However, most pot users are not sufferers of constant pain. They are pleasure users.

I got the shock of my life when I was at a party which was mostly 20 somethings. Us older folk were enjoying our alcohol, but the younger crowd were all smoking. What amazed me was the variety of gadgets they were using. Very little joint use as I had expected. These kids had water devices and other cool thingies.

Anyway I just see hypocrisy. If today's kids want to smoke pot, so be it. Then tobacco users should have the same freedom. Since they want to over tax cigarette smokers, then let them screw the pot smokers too, because I predict that decades from now the healthcare costs for pot smokers will be right up there with the tobacco users.

I hope no one dies because they read what you write here, decide to try it and end up in the morgue because someone sold them some pot that was laced with F******l or Heroin or some other substance that makes it more addictive.

I don’t know that I would even trust the government not to do that with dispensary drugs after what they did with their C***d drugs they told everyone to take.

Please be thoughtful about this when you promote using drugs.

Miss Emily. I was just answering your simple question with a simple answer. I know all about medical marijuana and its uses and I know about party marijuana. I've never smoked a lot because I don't like how it makes me feel around people, I feel self-conscious and it makes my Tremors worse.
My neurologist also said that it could enhance my seizures so I do not smoke it that often at all. Just as I said before I smoke a couple of hits with my old hippie dude occasionally and I may have a hit after I get off work it depends on if I'm called every name in the book that night.

I haven't been talking about me, I've been talking about my husband he's been in chronic pain for 20 years and I've also been stating the good uses for it. I understand that there are downsides to everything.

The 50 or $60 couple of getting high sessions, that must have been some really high THC levels that neither mild hippie dude or I would even touch.

I've altered my reality enough in my life from drinking I kind of like reality. But instead of having a glass of wine on a very few occasion I'll have a hit.

You are correct on doctors not prescribing it but they can't because it's not federally legalized. They can help you get a they also have gummies and chocolates that you can have that those are normally 10 mg a piece. A lot of the doctors in the VA advise their patients to get a medical marijuana card for PTSD and pain, and that is what my husband does but they can't prescribe it.

My doctor wants me to quit vaping because of the burn that you get in your lungs from The Vape and the same thing goes for anything you smoke. So I have researched it to quite an extent. But next time if you want a more detailed answer than go to a dispensary then ask a more detailed question please
Miss Emily. I was just answering your simple quest... (show quote)

If you read my response, you would have seen the paragraph that begins with "It works for someone with that many problems, I say go for it - if nothing else works..." .....I know who you were talking about.

You seem to want to explain to me what you do with pot for some reason. As I said at the end of my other post..."You do you....wh**ever. But telling people to "just go to a dispensary and you'll be able to find what's right for you" isn't the best advice, imo."

You are sounding mentally ill, I have to agree.

Do you think publican was telling the t***h when she told everyone on a public forum that she called a dozen "mental health" hospitals, asking if they had anyone there named "padremike", asked for details about him and they answered her (!!) with information, discussed his case in detail, his progress, his medications and that his sister told these doctors incredible detailed, personal information (that he "was quite wild, taking lots of drugs, engaging in seriously risky behavior, and so on" ) and that these psychiatric doctors THEN revealed to publican - a total stranger - over the phone???

If you do, then I doubt people believe much of anything you say, either.

They do, just go to a dispensery and you'll be able to find many different smells, THC levels and prices.
I'd definitely stay away from anything on the street tho. It's a crap shoot these days.

Dispensaries control the amount of THC in pot. Medical marijuana is mostly for pain and anxiety, which is mostly from CBD (Cannabidiol) products, and they are low in THC and high in CBD. Doctors don't prescribe medial marijuana to people who just want to use it to get high.

Making pot legal is for money, and money only. It's not about making people healthier. If you smoke it, it still is bad for your lungs - just as bad as smoking cigarettes, and maybe worse....they're just beginning to study the harmful effects of smoking it. There is a lot of resin in pot, which some say does more damage to your lungs than nicotine cigarettes do. You supposedly can eat it, but I believe the government regulates the amount of THC that they can put in those, too.

In my opinion, they've legalized it way too soon. They need to do more research regarding the side effects and health effects of this drug. But they won't because the money is GOOD! (a few buds - of a plant that is just a WEED (!!) - cost $50-$60 - which would last most people about one or two "sessions" of getting high, and the taxes on it are a LOT!! (21% in Virginia, 20% in Montana, etc.)

The government may make 'safer' marijuana, but it's not what you think it's going to be - and it is expensive if you're planning on using it regularly! And buying it on the street (places that are not licensed as dispensaries), as always, is taking a chance on getting laced and potentially lethal stuff. This is NOT the same pot of the 60's and 70's!

You do you....wh**ever. But telling people to "just go to a dispensary and you'll be able to find what's right for you" isn't the best advice, imo. My advice is: Do something else in life that makes you actually happy, and not the f**e "happy" that drugs give you.

I know a lot about pot. I used to have it in my monthly budget. But I quit when I met my wife in 1999. I've gotten high twice since then, the last being 2005, and all I got was extremely paranoid. I'm pretty sure it was because of the increased THC in it after I quit. I'd rather be straight.

The more they research pot, the more they are finding out the problems it causes. But try to convince a pothead of that and you get mocked as if you are a Trump supporter! 😐

Emily I was referring to the post about the a******n clinics as a business, especially 3rd term(which I can't believe has ever happened) being the best for harvesting body parts. I have not read the post about padre. My wife is an OB Nurse for the last 20yrs and has worked in the past for Planned parenthood and she has never been involved or heard of any type of bodypart harvesting etc. The idea she said is repulsive.

I saw your response ("Do you honstly believe this? Where is the proof of any of this?"), but did not look at who you were responding to. Your response seemed to address the post which was directly above your comment to Linda K, so I made the mistake of thinking it was about the outrageous post that was posted by publican.

Padre, I read this nonsense yesterday and didn't wish to dignify his, her, they, thems diatribe with an acknowledgment. Really a zero this one.

In her very first sentence, this person claims she called up a dozen (!) "mental hospitals" and one of them recognized one of their mentally ill patients and told this caller all about that patient, including their treatment, their progress and their medications??

I don't know of ANY hospital anywhere, and especially NOT any "mental" hospitals (!!), who would discuss any of their patients or anything about them on the phone to a total stranger, and especially not a Psychiatric hospital. That would break so many rules (and probably even a few laws), including the safety of their patients, and would open hospital administration up to the possibility of a huge lawsuit!

The rest of the story reads like someone who has actually spent time as a patient at a mental facility.
