In a recent interview with Tucker Carlson, Mitch McConnell said, "Donald Trump is not just demented, he is evil. We Republicans have a responsibility to ensure that he is taken out of public life and never again has any role whatsoever in our government."

From The Hill
McConnell-Trump relationship icy as ever
April 3, 2024
Senate Republican Leader Mitch McConnell (Ky.) may have endorsed former President Trump in his bid for the White House, but their relationship remains as icy as ever.

Basically your comment is untrue.

Speaking of fools. Did you believe it would be difficult to disprove what you wrote?

I don't get what you say. It looks to me like that quote from the Hill confirms, or at least is consistent with, my quote from the Carlson interview.

Somehow endorsing Trump does not sound like taking him out of public life.

Try reading what you posted. It includes the sentence: "their relationship remains as icy as ever". That sounds totally consistent with that MM said to TC.

It does not, in any way shape or form, imply Trump is evil and must be taken out of public life. It simply states their relationship is not congenial.

Further, it appears your quote may be over a year old, not at all recent.

No, of course not, but "an icy relationship" is certainly consistent with MM saying to TC some harsh words about tfg.
