Him stating the facts in writing will never get the word out. Your F**E news wont allow it, and it will be shelved. You disliking him is a prime example. If you heard all the things he's done, you would have to like him. Or be considered the i***t that you would be.

His SOTU would be facts spoken to the people, that the N**icrats dont want to be heard. Either way, he will be heard. And your N**i party will get smoked in the next e******ns.

The last column I wrote for this space called for a “People’s State of the Union,” a massive Donald Trump rally delivered in front of thousands of supporters, a sublime statement to Nancy Pelosi that said: “If you don’t want me in your room, I’ll find someplace else.”

It was fun to write, and fun to think about: a State of the Union speech t***sformed into a massive MAGA spectacle; she’d regret the snub for sure. Other creative ideas arose: deliver it at the border; deliver it down the hall in the Senate.

But late Wednesday night, the president decided there would be no alternative address, no high drama as he took to some other stage to hammer Democrats about the standoff that they could solve in an hour. He would in fact defer to Speaker Pelosi’s yanking of her House chamber invitation and schedule the address when the shutdown is over. “There is no venue that can compete with the history, tradition and importance of the House Chamber,” he tweeted, promising “a great State of the Union address in the near future.”

The immediate question was not whether his h**ers would celebrate this momentary surrender; they promptly did. On the left and among his tormentors who still think they are on the right, the mockery was instant, ridiculing a supposed tough, deal-making Trump for bowing to the superior sk**ls of Nancy Pelosi.

But part of their glee assumed that his base would also see it as a dispiriting capitulation—that Trump supporters would recoil, slump their shoulders and wonder what happened to the fighter they v**ed for.

Well, he’s still there, and the mutiny is not happening.

The reason is clear: Trump is playing a long game here that extends far beyond a thumb in Pelosi’s eye delivered through some relocated State of the Union. His eye is on the only ball that matters—border security. And no matter how his maneuvers may strike any observer, one thing is certain: he does not do anything that he does not expect to accrue to his benefit.

So what are the benefits of bowing to Pelosi at this moment? As this week blends into the weekend, there will be deep examination of the president’s decision to delay his address. Some valuable takeaways will arise, foremost among them that it is Pelosi who offended tradition by rescinding an invitation issued after the shutdown began, and it is Trump who cleaves to that tradition by agreeing to wait until it can be delivered in its customary place.

If you needed more proof that Democrats are responsible for the government shutdown this is it.

Texas Rep. Dan Crenshaw reported on Twitter that Republicans had a plan to pay federal workers during the shutdown.

But that proposal did not pass because all but 6 Democrats v**ed against it.

“Big deal that never got reported:

“Last week, House GOP v**ed to pay federal employees their 1st paycheck of 2019, despite shutdown. Only 6 Dems v**ed with us. It failed.

“Dem priority is not paying workers or opening gov’t. It is opposing Trump,” he said.

They allow Democrats to come on television daily and wring their hands and denounce the shutdown.

They feign outrage over the fact that federal workers are not getting paid.

But when they had the chance to give those workers their pay they said no.

And they did it because they want to stick it to President Donald trump, The Resurgent reported.

Representative Crenshaw has been calling for bi-partisan action to end the stalemate on the Continuing Resolution to fund the government. Apparently, bi-partisan action is not even allowed to end the financial pain the shutdown is causing federal employees and their families.

This can only mean the Democrats want to cause maximum disruption to individuals in order to own Trump. If this does not demonstrate the complete political nature of the Democrats strategy to prevent the President from any progress on the border, I don’t know what will.

As the past week has highlighted that in order to remain informed and understand what the facts are in almost any story, v**ers will have to find independent sources. Thank goodness we have people in government like Representative Crenshaw who are willing to hold their colleagues accountable to the public.

Every day federal employees remain unpaid from here until the end of the shutdown lies solely on the shoulders of the Democrats. Let’s ensure that burden is one that begins to feel very heavy.

[quote=Airforceone]The economic state of the Union at this time is is good, but it was a trend that Trump inherited from Obama and now that Trumps agenda has begun to kick in over the last 6 months which usually takes hold during a presidents second year the stats are beginning to decline. The 2nd and 3rd year is when a presidents agenda of Wages, Growth, deficits, budgets, trade deficit, interest rates, employment opportunities begin to kick in.

So let’s look at 2018 as an indicator of the conditions of the US and global economy.

Stock market in decline, Housing market slowing down, number of foreclosures are increasing, New Auto sales are in decline, Trade imbalance is increasing, Trade wars d**gging down growth, Exports over the last quarter dropped by 4.9%, Major signs of Global Growth Slowing. Deficit exploding, Federal budget for the last two years shows close to $1 trillion in the red.

The economic indicators after the Trump wealthy Tax cuts, and his Trade wars are beginning to show signs over the last 6 months of the US economy slowing down and the world economy slowing. All the indicators at this time are showing signs of a recession within the 12 to 18 months.

We all know that a president during his first year of implementing his trade policies, Addressing Taxes, Balancing budgets, Addressing income ine******y, and Wages all takes at least 1 year to even begin to show if his policies are working.

Now we are marred in a Trump self inflicted government shutdown which is the worst thing for this country.

US wages have grown and Trump likes to pound his chest over wages. But for the poor and middle class it has only grown by .09 cents and inflation has sucked that up. But upper 1% wage earners have increased by 23% and for a guy like Trump that equates to and additional $32 million in one year. While middle class gets $.09

New car sales drop because of the Trump tariffs on steel.

Trumps State Of The Union will be a typical type speech that he will either lie which is his normal MO, he will use scare tactics to create a manufactured crisis. He will inflate statistics and just totally play to his 32% base which they will believe anything Trump says.

Democrat will come out after the Trump State of the Union and attempt to correct his lies and misinformation but Trumps base will not look at the rebuttal because Trump has convinced his base that the entire federal government is corrupt and only Trump can fix it. In Other Words Trump wants to be a dictator just like his buddy in Russia.

But our economy right now is good but all the indicators of maintaining a good economy are in decline.[/quote

Always the N**icrat. Claim credit for what Trump or the Reps do. The ONLY thing that Obastard can take credit for, is improving his golf game. Thats all he did.

The old narrative that Trump v**ers will stick with him through anything is crumbling as v**ers in key states are leaving him over the government shutdown.
The Washington Post went to Michigan, and what they found a was president whose base is cracking:

While Trump’s relationship with much of his base remains strong, two years after his inauguration his ties are fraying with v**ers like Daudert, the kind who v**ed in droves for Trump in 2016 in key pockets throughout the industrial Midwest and flipped previously Democratic states to him. The shutdown fight, as it has played out over the past month, is further eroding his support among v**ers who like the idea of beefing up border security, but not enough to close the government.

Many here, even those who still support Trump, say they hold him most responsible. They recite his comment from the Oval Office that he would be “proud to shut down the government.” When he said it, they listened.

Trump is losing support over the government shutdown
The shutdown is wrecking Trump with his base. The president has lost double-digit support with evangelicals and suburban white men. He has also seen declines in support with Republicans and men without college degrees. Trump’s base is abandoning him because he hasn’t been able to justify the shutdown, and he has shown no sign that he cares about the people who are being harmed by his decision. The danger for Trump is that he is confirming that he doesn’t care about the same people who he campaigned on speaking for. The perception has become a reality.
T***p w*n in 2016 by about 80,000 v**es in three states.
If Michigan, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania flip back to the Democratic column, Trump will be doomed in 2020. The early signs are there that v**ers in these states realize that they made a mistake in 2016, and are getting ready to right their wrong in 2020.

This failure to take personal responsibility and attempt to blame the African American group and the Native American group for his behavior is actually the perfect example of the real problem of white privilege.

Earlier this month, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi called President Trump’s border wall “immoral”.

News flash, Nancy – Americans DON’T agree with you.

As first reported by Breitbart, almost six-in-ten v**ers say the construction of the wall along the southern United States border isn’t “immoral”, regardless of what the Democrats continue to preach.

When’s the last time sixty percent of Americans agreed on ANYTHING?!

Rasmussen Reports recently conducted a poll where nearly 58 percent of swing v**ers did not agree with Pelosi’s view of immorality and even 53 percent of total v**ers believe the wall of this kind to stop i*****l i*********n is not immoral in any way.

In fact, nearly half of the v**ers who claim to be “moderate” don’t consider a wall at the southern border immoral either.

The federal government remains partially shut down because of this exact issue. But these numbers prove what side of the issue the majority of Americans are on – so what’s the issue?!

According to the report, border crossings in November 2018 hit a whopping 52,000, making it the highest number for i*****l i*********n since November 2006. Research indicates that at this rate, i*****l i*********n could reach 60,000 border crossings – the highest number in a decade.

The issue for stronger border security is a dire one… 2,000 i*****l a***ns were convicted of murder just last year.

So if these figures don’t sway Democrats like Nancy Pelosi, perhaps would-be v**ers that hold her party’s fate in their hands will.

How much more proof do the Democrats need?!

Not only does counterterrorism expert Malcolm Nance believe the controversial BuzzFeed report will turn out to be factual, but he believes Donald Trump will likely get busted for ordering dozens of people to lie to cover up his work as a Russian asset.

“This story may not pan out. I believe it will,” Nance told MSNBC. “I believe that there will probably be a dozen situations where Donald Trump ordered people to lie or cover up or hide the fact that he’s doing Russia’s bidding.”

Video:

The United States national security is at risk when you’re talking about a person who … is a pathological liar, is easily manipulated, who blurts out our national security secrets in order to brag and impress our enemies. That’s where we’re in trouble.

But more importantly, the presidency itself has been c*********d. Look, this story may not pan out. I believe it will. I believe that there will probably be a dozen situations where Donald Trump ordered people to lie or cover up or hide the fact that he’s doing Russia’s bidding because he wants to be accepted by Russia and to be oligarch billionaires like their leadership.

Then along comes some bright spark with an answer. Give him a raise! Ah, yes, you sigh, if only the boss would go along with such a suggestion, that would be wonderful. Oh, no, our young upstart interjects, don't just suggest it to the boss, make him do it! Get the politicians to enact a law requiring that all employers will pay no less than an arbitrarily chosen hourly wage and impose severe penalties for non-compliance, up to and including death, then sit back and feel good about yourself as you watch the floor sweeper perform his daily broom-pushing ritual with a smile on his once downtrodden face. Ah, the bliss!

(Sound of wheels screeching, a loud crash and then? Silence...)

Oh, no! The floor sweeper has been laid off! Downsized. Right-sized. On the dole. Now you are tasked with cleaning up your own work space at the end of your shift because the floor sweeper is too expensive and your co-workers politely declined the boss' offer to take a pay cut to finance the janitor's 'living wage' payout for the floor sweeper. Damn capitalists! What we need is a more powerful government that can 'make' the employers give everyone a job with a good wage.

And so the scourge of socialism spreads it's tentacles into our society, commerce and politics.

I'd say we're maybe about halfway to the socialist utopia that is wage and price controls:
