That's how they enrich their own. They don't serve the country. They are there to extort. AOC , Omar, Tlaib, Presley, Maxine Waters, and 95% of the b****s and Muslims in Congress are extortionist. They get very wealthy after they retire with multi-million retirement funds, all paid for by us, the taxpayers. How stupid are we, for putting them there? Are we dumb?

Radiance3... You are prejudice... "95% of the b****s and Muslims in Congress are extortionist" is sad to hear... Now if you say a probable majority of All Congress Members, and State Legislatures, and Local Councilors are looking out for their own best interests rather the USA Citizens' best interests, I'd agree with you...

As was once said many years ago "How can you trust a man who's running for Mayor and spends $5 Million on a $50,000 a year job?!?"

Congresswoman Makes R********ns Demand on the House Floor: 'Pay Us What You Owe Us'

Massachusetts Rep. Ayanna Pressley appeared to call for r********ns for the country’s black citizens during a House floor speech Thursday.

The far-left Democrat and member of the self-proclaimed “squad” spoke at length about a perceived systemic bias against b***k A******ns.

Pressley, describing the Black L***s M****r movement as a “mandate” on all of America, said it is time for the country to “pay us what you owe us.”

“I rise today on behalf of every black family that has been robbed of a child,” Pressley said.

“On behalf of every family member that has been forced to see their loved one lynched on national television. Driving while black. Jogging while black. Sleeping while black. We have been criminalized for the very way we show up in the world. Under the harsh gaze of far too many, my black body is seen as a threat, always considered armed,” she added.

“Centuries of institutionalized oppression will not be undone overnight, for r****m in America is as structural as the marble pillars of this very institution,” Pressley continued.

“With the power of the pen, we must legislate accountability, dismantle these systems and move in the direction of justice and healing.”

Referring to widespread racial and civil unrest since the May 25 death of G****e F***d in Minnesota, Pressley appeared to demand r********ns for b***k A******ns.

“There is a rallying cry in communities across the nation. Black L***s M****r is a mandate from the people,” she said.

“It’s time. Pay us what you owe us. Our black skin is not a crime, it is the beautiful robe of nation builders.”

Rep. Ayanna Pressley: "Black L***s M****r is a mandate from the people. It's time -- pay us what you owe us. Our Black skin is not a crime. It is the beautiful robe of nation-builders."

Pressley has previously expressed support for efforts to defund police departments and to end qualified immunity, which protects police officers from lawsuits.

“Qualified immunity shields police from accountability, impedes true justice, and undermines the constitutional rights of every person in this country,” Pressley said in a statement earlier this month.

Pressley’s apparent call for r********ns, though, might not find a great deal of support in Congress.

A Reuters/Ipsos poll conducted this week found that only one in five respondents said they support using “taxpayer money to pay damages to descendants of ens***ed people in the United States.”

The poll revealed that around 80 percent of Republicans said they were opposed to financial r********ns, while roughly a third of Democrats supported r********ns.

Only one in 10 white respondents supported the idea, compared to roughly half of black respondent.

Democratic p**********l nominee Joe Biden has said he is in support of exploring the feasibility of offering financial r********ns to both black and Native Americans, Newsweek reported.

“If, in fact, there are ways to get direct payments for r********ns, I want to see it,” Biden said earlier this month during a virtual conversation with the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People.

Pressley was floated as a potential Biden running mate last week by Vanity Fair.

“I’m just following the work and wherever the work takes me. I wasn’t planning to run for City Council. I wasn’t planning to run for Congress. I’m just following the work. So wherever the work takes me, that’s where I’m going,” she told the outlet.

I for one believe Congress Members should be paid what they're owed...
So, they start at $174000 per year... But for every $100000 income outside of Congress a Member earned the previous year, they are reduced $10000 in salary... So, if a Member made $1 million the previous year outside of Congress, they'd be paid $74000 this year...
But fully vested pensions at 80% of their yearly salary after 5 years service is deplorable... 50% of their salary after 18 years service is more like it...

A message for Democrats
In the upcoming e******n, there will be a tendency to get complacent because of polls showing your candidate for president being significantly ahead.
DO NOT BE FOOLED INTO THINKING THIS.
In this situation, Trump will behave like a cornered animal, using any and all means to escape … in this case, to be reelected. Slime, disinformation and outright lies will be the operative method of fighting the battle.
It is literally life and death for him, since if not reelected, the New York Attorney General will probably have arrest warrants waiting at 12:01 on Inauguration day. If he wins, the statute of limitations on those charges will probably expire before he leaves office and he'll be home free.
Look for any and all means, legal and illegal, to make sure that the e******n goes his way.
Be forewarned that this will happen if he doesn't pull an LBJ and quit the race before the convention.
As usual, your mileage may vary.

Bebida... Adult children who are Legal Citizens of the USA can, of course, stay. If their parents are here Illegally, they must leave, and then request reentry based on their having a Legal adult child Legally living in the USA who can and will vouch for them. This process understands the Family wanting to be together. But the Family must understand the parents are here Illegally. Allowing them to stay while breaking the Law by being here Illegally is violating Our Laws. But having the parents deported and reentering Legally will maintain Our Laws as well as allowing the Family to be together in Our USA.

That's already happening. Thanks giving and Christmas reason's are all but forgotten.
The Thanksgiving Pilgrims had a feast and invited their Indian friends, ( friends at that time anyway), because they had shown them how to fertilize. Many had already died from the harsh conditions and disease. But they gave thanks to God for what they DID have, instead of lamenting what they had lost. They were humble and thankful.

Christmas is anything but a celebration of Christ's birthday, nor has it always been a celebration. In one of the early Puritan settlements, some young men were arrested for playing soccer on Christmas, ( not working), and their equipment confiscated. The elders were Protestant and did NOT observe Christmas because it was a Roman Catholic holiday.
But around the 1850's sales were so slow at Christmas that store owners looked for ways to increase sales. In t***h, there's nothing wrong with that. Christmas trees had also arrived, along with ornaments one could purchase to decorate the trees. Even the trees became a marketable item.
Christmas cards gave rise to the tradition of Christmas as WE know it. After the cards came the presents. The Northern states began to bleed over into the South, and I'm sure that the Southern s***e owning plantations spent lavishly for presents. Keep following the growth of the holiday and you end up with the Christmas we have today. We have Black Friday where people sometimes get k**led by shoppers trying to get that great deal.

For over a month people go to massive sales, they grab, they fight, they curse, and they sometimes k**l and then finally, on Dec. 25th, most will go to church on Sunday Morning before Christmas arrives. In all of this mess, one can hardly find Christ.
So I don't mind the African Americans having a holiday to celebrate freedom from s***ery. After all, their ancestors really DID earn that one. The meaning will be lost as the other holidays.
That's already happening. Thanks giving and Christ... (show quote)

Statement from the Clinton campaign:

Because we had not uncovered any actionable evidence of hacking or outside attempts to alter the v****g technology, we had not planned to exercise this option ourselves, but now that a recount has been initiated in Wisconsin, we intend to participate in order to ensure the process proceeds in a manner that is fair to all sides. If Jill Stein follows through as she has promised and pursues recounts in Pennsylvania and Michigan, we will take the same approach in those states as well. We do so fully aware that the number of v**es separating Donald Trump and Hillary Clinton in the closest of these states — Michigan — well exceeds the largest margin ever overcome in a recount. But regardless of the potential to change the outcome in any of the states, we feel it is important, on principle, to ensure our campaign is legally represented in any court proceedings and represented on the ground in order to monitor the recount process itself.

The campaign is grateful to all those who have expended time and effort to investigate various claims of a******lities and irregularities. While that effort has not, in our view, resulted in evidence of manipulation of results, now that a recount is underway, we believe we have an obligation to the more than 64 million Americans who cast b****ts for Hillary Clinton to participate in ongoing proceedings to ensure that an accurate v**e count will be reported.
