from Governor Huckabee

To avoid the bad optics of a convention dogged by pro-Hamas protesters, like the r**ts at the 1968 convention, the Democrats are considering having at least a partially “virtual” convention, similar to the p******c-era one in 2020. That would mean fewer live speeches and more videos and pre-recorded pieces, which could also conveniently mean Biden hides in his basement again while Americans watch an AI-generated hologram that can actually read off a Teleprompter.

https://www.westernjournal.com/democrats-preparing-possible-virtual-convention-avoid-repeat-68-anti-war-protests/

Bonus: In that article, a writer for Politico said the Democrats are concerned about how to “navigate a rookie mayor who unabashedly sympathizes with protesters.” That’s a reference to Chicago’s Democrat Major Brandon Johnson, who also sympathizes with i*****l a***ns and criminals, which is why his city is so dangerous and in dire financial straits.

So the true theme of the 2024 DNC Convention will be “Let high tech hide the consequences of Democrat policies.” They might as well stage it in front of a green screen backdrop of Fantasyland at Disney World.

Former White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki circled back when caught falsely claiming in a new book that President Joe Biden never checked his watch during a ceremony for soldiers k**led during the 2021 U.S. withdrawal from Afghanistan.

Axios reported Psaki, now a host on MSNBC, wrote in “Say More” that “the president looked at his watch only after the ceremony had ended. Moments later, he and the First Lady headed toward their car.” She also claimed that Biden’s critics engaged in “misinformation” and used the image of Biden checking his watch to make “him appear insensitive, concerned only about how much time had passed.”

Psaki denied that Biden checked his watch despite photo evidence, media fact-checks, and statements made by Gold Star parents of a U.S. service member k**led in the Kabul airport attack who were in attendance during the ceremony at Dover Air Force Base.

“I watched you disrespect us all 5 different times by checking your watch!!! What the f*** was so important that you had to keep looking at your watch????” said a Facebook post from Shana Chappell, mother of Marine Lance Cpl. Kareem Nikoui.

Mark Schmitz, father of Marine Lance Cpl. Jared Schmitz, testified to Congress that “while I stood there on the tarmac watching you check your watch over and over again, all I wanted to do was shout out, ‘It’s two f***ing thirty, a**hole.'”

Psaki’s book also misattributed sentences taken from USA Today to The Washington Post to point out that Biden looked at his watch after the ceremony — even though the article said elsewhere that Biden checked his watch during the ceremony, too.

Axios received a statement from Psaki after its report was published, saying that the “detail in a few lines of the book about the exact number of times he looked at his watch will be removed in future reprints and the ebook.”
Psaki insisted her story was “really about the importance of delivering feedback even when it is difficult told through my own experience of telling President Biden that his own story of loss was not well received by the families who were grieving their sons and daughters.”

The book mishap drew blowback on social media.

“Jen Psaki lied in her book about an easily provable fact,” RealClearPolitics co-founder and president Tom Bevan said in a post to X.

In another post to X, Rep. Mike Waltz (R-FL) said, “Calling Gold Star families liars — even when there’s photographic proof — is a pathetic partisan attempt to defend your boss and a bad look.”

Too bad he is second only to biden as the worst President.

If anyone is convicted of a felony and sentenced to prison they have the right to appeal… but they remain incarcerated as the appeal is heard. Should Trump be treated differently?

If a President has committed 'high crimes and misdemeanors' as biden obviously has done - should he be impeached?

“Remember him saying the best thing to do is just inject a little bleach in your arm? That’s what he said. And he meant it. I wish he had done a little bit himself.”

https://www.breitbart.com/politics/2024/05/10/biden-says-trump-shouldve-injected-himself-bleach/

Actual fact-check: Trump never said that. Biden has been corrected on this falsehood many times, but keeps repeating it anyway, which makes him either an unrepentant liar or someone with no memory. Likewise, maybe his memory is so bad that he doesn’t remember that Presidents of the United States don’t go around wishing death on their political opponents, or maybe that’s just what he does.

I think we’ve finally arrived at the point where memory loss due to senility is actually the best-case explanation for Biden’s comments.

Related: During that same speech, Biden also accused Trump of sending “love letters” to “South Korean President Kim Jong-Un.” Dear Secret Service: If he can’t recall the difference between North and South Korea, please --- PLEASE! – keep his finger off the nuclear button!
